A one trick pony, but it's one trick is solid. Grapefruit aromas and taste plus cracker like malt base. That is about it. Has some other citrus, light hop spice, and plenty of grass, especially in the smell. Forgettable

Attractive looking beer with a nice grapefruit nose. The flavor and feel lacks for me, as can often be the case with this low ABV version of the IPA. Some grapefruit and citrus. The beer was too thin for my preference and had absolutely no malt profile to speak of. The best of the best in my opinion manage to pack a huge hop burst with a delightful crackery malt profile. This one was too one dimensional and lacked the aforementioned quality I seek in this type of beer.

A 330ml can with a best before date of 21st March 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A lightly hazy golden orange colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left some sticky lacing.

Aroma: Mandarin sweetness, grapefruit pith, pineapple, pine and hints of floral notes.

Taste: Floral, perfume-y, grassy, apricot with touches of grapefruit pith.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: This was perhaps too floral and perfume-y for my liking.

Poured to a BrewDog stemmed glass.

A: The body is yellow with a slight haziness, nothing juicy with a half a finger thick white head.
S: The aroma is very green of hops, more like grassy even with no citrus profiles.
T: The taste is a follow up to the nose, having a very big resinous and grassy profile with a hint of very small citrus - blood orange, profile. In the back, a medium hoppiness is present but nothing too strong.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is perfect. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is mild and soft.
O: Was expecting more from this GBG beer but it's still very drinkable.

Pours slightly unclear, yellow in color. Nice, soft foam.

Smell is very tropical, citrus and pineapple. Maybe a little one dimensional.

Taste is very refreshing, plenty of citrus, and some grassy notes. Not a whole lot of maltbase to talk about.

Mouthfeel is a little thin, but well carbonated.

Overall, a very good session IPA, a bit on the thin side.

Hazy bright straw color with creamy head. Aroma has sweet grains and a hint of vanilla with grassy and citrusy hops on top. Taste is really balanced with intense grassy hops but just slightly bitter on the finish. Light body, medium carbonation, doesn’t feel watery at all but it’s really easy drinking.

I really like this beer. A session ipa like no other. Very fruity all along with peach, rhubarb, black currant. A bit of green tea in the taste with a light bitterness. A bit of pine. Melon
Not very acidic compared to other sessions IPA. Good balance in the taste. Smooth mouthfeel with the oat, low carbonation.
Very good session ale. Very drinkable

The colour is warm yellow-orange; the liquid is hazy. The two finger head is white and compact; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing.

The smell is semi-sweet and very juicy with bitter notes of grapefruit, orange, apricot, passion fruit and a hint of rhubarb.

The taste starts with bitter hops and creamy candy-like sweetness. Passing notes of gunpowder and lemon acid. Medium body. The aftertaste is surprisingly thin with bitter-sour notes of fruit candy, grapefruit juice and mango. The finish is sweet and rather neutral with hints of exotic fruits.

The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles fresh and long-lived. The liquid is smooth.

If this session NE IPA had had some more body and longer aftertaste, it would have been really great.
