Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.20%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
This beer is defined by its pronounced hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. It has a solid malt backbone that works with the citrusy American hops. The hop bouquet resonates like flavors of tangerine and ruby red grapefruit. The mouth feel is crisp and dry leaving a balance of bitterness and rich malt on the palate. It is golden honey in color.

7.2% ABV, 70 IBU, Hops: Chinook, Columbus, Cascade, Summit, Eldorado, Amarillo

On tap, poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - gold with lame carbonation. Thin white head leaves surprisingly sticky lacing.
Smell - I get more citrus and pine in the hops and a hint of sour dough in the malt.
Taste - a little more one sided with the hops overpowering a bit, though I'm not complaining!
Feel - an initial lingering of unattractive bitterness on the tongue that quickly transitions into a refreshing and fairly balanced finish.
Overall - a pretty tasty brew actually, one that I had low expectations delivered a very nice surprise!

Part of a mixed 6-pack of cans I bought at Supermarket Liquors in Fort Collins.

No dating that I can find.

Served on the warm side, it looks a slightly hazy gold with a lot of foam. As the head shrinks, some lacing is left behind.

The smell is on the fruity and floral side hop wise. There's an ample malt nose that appears to me to be sweetish.

It has a balanced taste; slightly sweet from the malt with a very light non descipt bitterness. Unusual flavours going on here but I am enjoying them.

One of the more balanced IPAs that I have tried. Not sure if it's because of the age of my can or it is as the brewer intended. Either way, like I said, it's quite enjoyable.

12 oz can. Pours hazy dark golden orange with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film and laces the glass.

The aroma is lots of grapefruit and green piney hops with some bready crystal malt in the background.

The flavor is sweet crystal malts with lots of grapefruit and citrus followed by a fairly big resiny dank hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a very nice IPA with sweet fruity notes and nice hop bitterness.

16oz Pour from the source in Boulder, CO

A – Pours a nice crystal clear orange, head is straw colored and not too tall. Lacing left behind is consistent and adequate. Very nice.

S – Strong citrus notes, very very fresh, balancing malt notes come through.

T – Very clean and refreshing, pine notes come out here, and a little bit of tropical fruit tones as well. No one flavor dominates the rest, the balance is nice here.

M – Carbonation levels are near perfect, if anything it is approaching the high side, making this a very drinkable and approachable brew.

O – Better than I anticipated, this is a very solid IPA, it wouldn't make sense to bottle this, but it is a nice option to have at the brewery, very solid offering.

12 oz. Can
ABV: 7%

Pours a very nice hazy dark golden orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which leaves some really nice thick/creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, some malts, some citrus. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy. Medium body, very slight dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very nice looking brew, and tasty.
