This unique beer is defined by its pronounced hop bitterness flavor and aroma. The addition of single origin Ethiopian coffee adds a distinct and lingering roast finish that compliments the style perfectly.
7% ABV, 70 IBU, Hops: Summit, chinook, columbus, cascade, eldorado and amarillo hops.

If you enjoy a smooth single sourced iced latte or a high end small batch coffee ice cream then this is your beer. The coffee tempers but does not take over the hops at the front end of this beer and then it ends with a creamy rich coffee flavor. Drink this beer cold and there will be times that despite the texture you will think you are drinking a milkshake.

There best coffee IPA I've ever had. The coffee doesn't overwhelm the IPA but it dues temper the bitterness of the hops. There is a lovely aftertaste, like you just drank one of those overpriced single source pour-overs at that hyped new coffee shop that you finally tried out.

Wow, I've never had anything like this before. It had an orange color and smelled like coffee. You definitely taste the coffee and subtle hops simultaneously. Definitely will have again!

probably my favorite beer from my visit to fate yesterday evening. a really rich coffee ipa, thats equal parts coffee and ipa, a shocker for me, and way better than other attempts at this that i have had from others. past copper to an almost leather color, clear looking and quite frothy, dessert looking. the nose is the best part by a long shot, rich caramel roasty coffee, sweet and earthy but also really exotic and distinct, like very good espresso from somewhere far away. the caramel aroma is incredible, is like a coffee creme brulee, has that flair to it, that richness and that level of craftsmanship to do it right. the hops are big and sticky, and at first seem kind of out of place in a coffee beer, but the more i sit and sniff this, the more it makes perfect sense. like the way italians put lemon zest in espresso, this does the same thing. enhances it. the flavor is a lot like the nose, but the hops and intense and unique coffee seems more familiar now, tamed down a fair bit. while still compatible and really yummy, its not quite as dynamic and stunning to me. finish is double bitter and kind of aggressive after an otherwise very luxurious experience. top quality beer, made with really awesome coffee integrated extremely well. one of the more unique and delicious beers ive had in awhile, and top tier stuff from fate.
