Notes:
Formerly Fruitlands - Passion Fruit And Guava
Fruitlands is tart, fruity, and frighteningly delicious. The sour, salty base beer lays down the funky refreshment, while a heavy dose of passion fruit and guava turns the whole thing into a wall-to-wall tropical fruit fiesta. It's a marvelous mix of elements that collides with your mouth like a fruit-filled asteroid of flavor traveling at the supersonic speed of party.

Truly exceptional. Outstanding gose in general, and the moderate addition of the tropical fruit is wonderful.
Pretty copper-gold body with a slight haze, much darker and richer in appearance than most goses. Thin eggshell film that provides a little splotchy patches of lacing.
Nose is remarkable. Plenty of familiar lemon and saline notes, but the floral and fruity tropical notes, plus a wonderful berry element, take the aroma profile to another level. Can’t imagine a much better nose for a gose.
Flavor notes are absolutely in line with the nose: tart citrus, tropical fruit (with a distinct but subtle watermelon note), a near-perfect salinity, and tart berries. This one isn’t a puckerer, and isn’t over the top with any of its flavors. It’s just wonderfully balanced and exactly on point with what I was hoping for given the gose categorization and tropical fruit description.
Feel is wonderfully soft and creamy, with the tropical fruit falling off on the backend, leaving salt and tart citrus as the lingering aftertaste.

Modern Times' Fruitlands Passion Fruit & Guava gose.
A: Yellow-orange in the glass. About a finger of fluffy, dense head. Hazy yellow-white in the dimple. Faint sheeting; good lacing.
S: Aroma is straight up guava nectar! Faint cool menthol.
T/MF: Flavor is more mild. Guava, lime. Salt is much more subtle than Apricot, yet the beer still has a refreshing tart upturn. Creamy texture. Faint eucalyptus and some other vegetal quality.
Although the guava is spot on, this one is blander than the Apricot.
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle, into a Belgian tulip glass.

L: A hazy golden orange with minimal off-white head.
S: A slightly sour tropical fruit blend, of papaya and guava (passionfruit and guava is what's actually in the beer). Smell is a tad salty as well.
T: Slightly sour, only slightly sweet. A nice a light malt backbone balanced with delicious tropical fruit flavors. Very refreshing.
F: Medium bodied, light carbonation. Smooth, not quite creamy, but bordering on that.
O: This was a very delicious and refreshing beer.

Pink to ruby red. Hazy unfiltered body with strong carbonation. Big time aroma of guava. I also pick up strawberry, passionfruit, and watermelon. Also gentle rose grapes. Taste is the same but with a light wine character. I can also taste some grapefruit. Salty and sweet at the same time. Very refreshing.

Good refreshing beer - salt is maybe notched-up a bit too much, and it really lingers on the palate, but there is a great expression of guava that helps balance that out. The passionfruit adds a general tropical note but the guava is what stood out to me
