We've spent years obsessing over how to create the bomb-diggityest of IPAs. We've scoured the globe for the choicest hops, exhaustively refined our malt bills & yeast strains, & fine-tuned our methods & recipes to a point some would consider ridiculous. We wouldn't, & you're about to taste why. Vibrant notes of stone fruit, pine, & refreshing citrus dazzle the palate before making their exit in a graceful, dry finish that argues convincingly for a follow-up sip. It's the sum of our (current) IPA-brewing wisdom, & it also happens to pair pretty wonderfully with those veggie pakoras a couple of aisles over.

Like the first time I opened a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine when I was a wee tot, I’m feeling this one. I mean, sweet hell, this damn beer has Raul asking himself what’s real. Like starring into Yamila Diaz-Rahi for the first time, Raul is feeling this one! Hazy (what’s new?) but super tropical - yet not overbearing like your head mistress that used to beat you for taking an extra scoop of porridge.

Just get it, my children. Get it good.

Trader Joe's Exclusive. Bottling date of 06/25/16

Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before retreating to a thin, consistent layer of suds with a fair ring lining the edge. Fair lacing, mostly consisting of spots found along the glass.

Smell - Fair aroma that's juicy in character with orange, apricot, pine, melon and a hint of pineapple.

Taste -Follows the nose. Mellow but juicy; a blend of orange and honeydew melon with a bit of mango. A touch of pine and spice hit mid-taste and into the finish that also features some citrus pith, but the flavor fizzles out fairly quickly. Found a bit of yeast on the bottle and added it to my glass. Adds more welcomed pithy bitterness throughout the experience.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with soft, but slightly tingly carbonation. Silky texture makes it an easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.

Overall - Overall a good beer, but the strength of this is its smoothness. In a way, this quite reminds me of some of the hoppy pales that Maine Beer Co. has to offer, especially their hazier offerings.

Pro-tip: a bit of yeast settles on the bottom that contains a lot of bitterness. Swirl the bottle midway through pouring to get that bit more of flavorful goodness. Trust me, it needs it. Added a quarter point in taste

On tap at Belmont Station the other day.

The beer pours a hazy golden amber color with good head retention and decent lacing. On the nose, there's the expected tropical fruit and orange juice aroma, but it's particularly bright and intense in this beer. Picking up a hint of vanilla as well, which is nice. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, with minimal bitterness on the dry finish. The finish on this beer seems a bit cleaner and softer than some of the NE style IPA's I've tried, and the alcohol seemed to be very well integrated into the flavor profile. The beer finishes well, and drinkability was quite good.

Pretty impressed by this. Along with the Orderville, this is probably the best non BA aged beer I've had from MT. Very nice IPA from these guys.

22 oz bomber to pint glass

A cloudy, yellow-peach colored beverage, Accumulated Knowledge delivers pungent hop aromas before taking a whiff. Spicy pine, grapefruit rind and lemongrass are distinct in the bouquet.

Sharp, light and refreshing on the palate. Floral and piney notes combine with citrus fruit, followed by nutty malt-sweetness. Sweet and fruity at the front of the sip, closing with a surprisingly dry and quick finish.

Another tasty pale from MT. They seem to pull flavor nuances from their hop profiles no one else is able to find.

Can from TJs in Tanasbourne.

A hazy orange with a dense, white head that falls off to a disk leaving nice lacing, this looks solid. The nose really does live up to its Juicy and Dank billing with a wonderfully fruit forward blend of peach, orange, a little watermelon rind, some passionfruit, and some dank, herbal pine notes. Malt character is minimal here. The palate doesn't quite live up to the nose, with the high carbonation detracting quite severely from the wonderful flavors that are present. Despite this, this is one tasty beer. Opening juicy with peach, nectarine, a little passionfruit and a moderate amount of citrus (particularly clementines and mandarins), this is juicy. Moderate pine notes are present. The mid-palate has a little bit of a grainy/husky feel to it. Juicy on the finish with a mild bitterness, just enough to temper the juicy flavors, this beer is light in body and a little overcarbonated. Excellent stuff.

Bottled on 11/1 or 11/11 - so this is pretty fresh either way (2-3 weeks old). Poured from a 22oz bomber into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.

Extremely turbid old gold body, almost neon, with a bright white finger of thick micro-foam. Dense even lacing, superior retention. Decidedly unfiltered, and I'm guessing the white wheat is flour rather than malt? Cool looking, despite defying most any style guidelines.

Decidedly juicy aroma with citrus, mango and peach dominating (hints of pineapple and apricot - MAYBE some gooseberry and/or passionfruit in there as well). There is also a low floral/herbal quality suggestive of mint. My wife reports heavy grapefruit seeds/pine, though I'm not getting much of that.

The malt profile accentuates the peppery/spicy bite of the hops - below the crest of citrus and bright fruit flavors there is a cushion of flavorful yet clean malt rounded by oats - the synergy this has with some of the hops yields surprising flavors that give this one of the most complex finishes of any IPA around, bringing to mind a fine single-origin coffee from Ethiopia or Kenya (lemon, chocolate, berry, bergamot, etc.). Moderate bitterness throughout, not especially aggressive, allowing the core flavors to reveal themselves fully. No off notes. Some vague hints of pine and scallion. Maybe slightly grassy (though never vegetal) at times from heavy doses of dry-hopping (I'm guessing), but just short of perfection otherwise.

Pillowy, soft, not-quite-medium bodied, and supremely refreshing - where was this all Summer?

Excellent value - easily on par with some of the small batch, canned, limited release "NE style" IPAs that have so much current trade value. These should fly off the shelves.

Hazy gold with three fingers of five minute white head. Rings and sheets of lace.
Smell is citrus and tropical fruit. Peach pits.
Taste is orange citrus peach pit and slight pine resins.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and somewhat balanced.
Overall a tasty IPA that would be better under the NEIPA category. Tasty.

Had this on 2017-06-22 in Lancaster, PA at Federal Tap House, on-tap

A - Cloudy straw-gold with a 1.5-finger pillowy white head and nice lace

S - Nectarine, papaya, pineapple, pine, wheat cracker and floral

T - Pineapple, peach, pine, grass, light citrus, wheat bread. Mild-moderate bitterness with a little lingering sweetness.

M - Medium body and light carbonation. Smooth at first, then lightly prickly then dry.

O - A well balanced, flavorful brew. I quite enjoyed my 10oz pour today; although at $7.00 quite pricey.

Bruised peach juice orange and cloudy, topped with a half finger of yellowish head.

Smells of canned doggy peaches, oranges, and a hint of dankness.

Tastes of juicy oranges and peaches and pineapple juice. A hint of dankess, and green leaf.

Medium body with low and foamy carbonation.

I got this at Trader Joes and am drinking it in Redding, June 12th, 2019.

Bottle dated 06/25/16 into a tulip glass. Pours hazy bronze orange with 1+ fingers of variable density white head that left sporadic lacing. Nose is a bit mute though enjoyable, mix of grassy/earthy with citrus notes, faint tropical notes. Taste is quite nice, more tropical aspects than noted in the nose, plenty of citrus and the earthiness is toned down vs the nose. Mouthfeel is a bit dry, plenty of astringency, carbonation solid, and a finish the lingers a bit. While the appearance might imply NE style, it doesn't have the uber soft mouthfeel. Still a damn delicious beer, just wanted a bit more nose.
