When the can is popped an immediate aroma of pine is detected. When poured the beer is hazy a looks like white grapefruit juice mixed with o.j. The aroma is now loaded with tons of orange and grapefruit with some weed and pine. Nice, sweet, citrus forward beer with a bitter pine and pith finish. Really great beer.

Tons of guava/stone fruit flavor. Burnt weed after taste in the best way possible. Not as "hazy" as expected but with a smell and flavor like this, look is only an aesthetic afterthought. Top notch stuff.

Canned 12/13/16; drank 1/2/17 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a HUGE white head; a thick curtain of lace.

Orange soda, peach & mild dry wheat notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Blood orange & dry wheat flavors up front; mild orange soda notes on the finish.

Mild, dry & sweet; palatable, but not mind-blowing.

Pours a murky golden orange with a large eggshell head. Great retention and lacing.

Grapefruit and pineapple aroma. Has a bitter tinge.

Strong grapefruit flavor. Tropical notes of pineapple, tangerine, and orange. Some pepper and resin on the backend.

Moderate mouth feel with medium carbonation. Starts smooth but goes bitter on the aftertaste. Lingering grapefruit.

Good example of the NEIPA. Juicy and fruity. Just a touch lacking on the mouth feel but still very good.

Sesriously murky but colorful yellow pour with modest foam in the tall tulip. Hoppy aromatics blow in a gusty wind. Stuff is massively hoppy, but on the flowery and leafy side. Flavor is a mix of fruit and resiny hop notes with a touch of sweet malt. Overall it's an intense back of the throat murk with that goopy mouthfeel like the yeast at the end of the keg. Intriguing but not one to gulp much of.

16oz can, dated 12/13/16, served in a snifter glass today. Pours a hazy, opaque medium straw yellow body, with a bit of a copper hue, one finger thick white head, frothy lacing, good retention. Smell is grapefruit, pulp, resin, sweet caramel. Juicy, with a good non-malty sweetness to it. Flavour brings more bitterness on the backend, more of a grapefruit zest to it; mild juiciness up front primarily of pulpy orange and grapefruit, mild caramel sweetness in the middle, finishing with grapefruit zest. This has all the components of a good IPA; it's like east meets west. Very tasty. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp with a nice dry zest on the finish. Very tasty, and it seems to suggest that Modern Times is figuring out the style more and more as they continue canning these different IPAs.
