A pleasant looking pour, moderately hazy, deep gold, really nice layer of foam that persists throughout the glass. Smell is similarly pleasant, balancing floral-sweet citrus, almost orange blossomy, alongside a lightly herbal undercurrent. It's not huge, but it's well put together. On the palate, things fall apart a bit, exacerbated by a somewhat watery body. Maybe I was extra sensitive to it, with the label's promise of something "pillowy", but the toned down flavor, in concert with the watery body, proved an underwhelming combo. The fruit flavors gave way to a more green/grassy flavor, light and one-dimensional. Overall, kind of a letdown.

Poured from 22oz into Bell's Oberon Pint Glass. Bottled on February 24th 2017.

L: Hazy pale yellow, nice finger width fluffy off-white head. Retains well, lacing is good as well.

S: Lots of tropical notes here with stone fruit, some dank pine, floral and herbal notes as well. Oranges, guava, peach. Pleasant.

T: Follows the nose closely only divergence is there is less pine and more sweet fruit. Very tasty.

F: Light-Medium, good carbonation, semi-dry.

O: A pretty delicious Pale Ale. I love trying beer with experimental hop varieties. Not the greatest beer I have had but certainly one I would recommend to most anyone.

Nice big fluffy head and great lacing. Pillows of fluff sit on top of the beer for a good while.

Nice tropical smell. Fruits and light pines.

Taste has fruit definitely. Pineapple...maybe guava or melon. Something tropical but can't put a finger on it. Nice and crisp ipa.

Feel is soft like a pillow. As the bottle says.

Overall a damn good beer. Low abv makes it a perfect beer for a day at the pool or beach.

Pours a warm orange gold with nice puffy head that slowly settled with high lacing

Smells of dank citrus, a little floral

Taste is bitter, a bit grassy, peppery spiciness, and citrus zest
