22 oz bomber into a snifter.
Dark brown ale, effervescent, especially for the style. Forms a frothy, dark brown head with a ruby hue.
Nutty, boozy nose (obviously). Added cocoa nibs yield wafts of molasses notes. Oaky AF.
Just an avalanche of nut butter aspects at the front of the sip. Flavors are completely disjointed…picking up this weird cherry/pit fruit undertone that shouldn’t be there. Molasses, grassy resin, oak. Long, sticky finish.
An absolute chore to drink. Not sure what they were trying to do here…avoid.
*I just read the other review. Something seems awry…I’ve been aging this bottle for a few years, wonder if all the added raw nuts don’t age well? Either way, what I just drank doesn’t align with the experiences below.

Spent way too much on a bottle of this and four others from a San Diego Facebook beer trading group. This one looks like a monster and I hope it lived up to the hype. Description called for “Bourbon barrel-aged Devil's Teeth, Beastmaster, & Monsters' Park blend w/ vanilla, almonds, cocoa nibs, coconut, & peanut butter.” Was so looking forward to it.
Poured a pitch black color with one finger of khaki tan fizzy head, which dissipated quickly. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled smooth bourbon, vanilla, milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, cookie dough, chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter. About as good from the bottle. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted just as good as the nose. Got milk chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, chocolate syrup, cookie dough, chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter. Super smooth for 13.5 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.50)
Full body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
What a great pastry stout. Would like to have this again down the road. (Overall - 4.50)

Súper smooth and very peanut butter forward stout. At first it tasted a bit sweet but once it warmed up I got the barrel taste and they mixed well. Didn’t get much of the cocoa nibs or other adjuncts but all of them mixed together made it taste like marshmallows. Highly recommend

Decently nutty but drinking this, I want them to take it all the way. The cocoa nibs confuse things a bit. A bit more bitter than I’d like. Still, really good flavor and complexity with a full body, soft carb and moderately nutty finish.

22oz bottle at share. Black pour with thin beige head. Sweet, nutty aroma, chocolate , peanut butter. Taste brings it all together into a nice peanut butter cup dipped in whiskey. Incredibly smooth and creamy.
