Misc.: No bottled on date, but I think this was a 2019 version
Spent way too much on a bottle of this and four others from a San Diego Facebook beer trading group. This one looks like a monster and I hope it lived up to the hype. Description called for “Bourbon barrel-aged Devil's Teeth, Beastmaster, & Monsters' Park blend w/ vanilla, almonds, cocoa nibs, coconut, & peanut butter.” Was so looking forward to it.
Poured a pitch black color with one finger of khaki tan fizzy head, which dissipated quickly. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled smooth bourbon, vanilla, milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, cookie dough, chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter. About as good from the bottle. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted just as good as the nose. Got milk chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, chocolate syrup, cookie dough, chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter. Super smooth for 13.5 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.50)
Full body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
What a great pastry stout. Would like to have this again down the road. (Overall - 4.50)

Súper smooth and very peanut butter forward stout. At first it tasted a bit sweet but once it warmed up I got the barrel taste and they mixed well. Didn’t get much of the cocoa nibs or other adjuncts but all of them mixed together made it taste like marshmallows. Highly recommend

Decently nutty but drinking this, I want them to take it all the way. The cocoa nibs confuse things a bit. A bit more bitter than I’d like. Still, really good flavor and complexity with a full body, soft carb and moderately nutty finish.

22oz bottle at share. Black pour with thin beige head. Sweet, nutty aroma, chocolate , peanut butter. Taste brings it all together into a nice peanut butter cup dipped in whiskey. Incredibly smooth and creamy.

Really I should be giving this a 5 down the line the only reason I didn't is because this beer didn't give me an erection. Is the best beer of 2019 MT put out. Best peanut butter beer I've ever had the marshmallow/peanut butter interplay with barrel is perfect in the pastry category.
Update bottle to bottle variation. Flavors were much more distinct fresh but nevertheless very enjoyable. Could be thicker.

Pours a used motor oil color with minimal tan head. Nose is strong vanilla, peanut butter, mild coconut and bourbon. Taste follows the nose. Great peanut butter flavor, followed by chocolate and finishes with a coconut vanilla taste. Feel is lucious, fantastic! Overall, great sweet stout that has a fantastic peanut better flavor, and the chocolate coconut and vanilla are well blended secondary flavors. I do wish I got the almonds, only reason I am knocking my rating.

Was the winner of the night for me at Half Acre's Far and Away. Great body, the coconut really shines through with heavy chocolate as well. The almond and/or peanut butter come through a little in the background, but the mix of coconut with chocolate were the top part for me. Haven't had a coconut beer that well done before.
