Notes: This impossibly tasty 7.6% IPA is positively stuffed with gobs of Galaxy, Motueka, Mosaic, and Experimental 06277 hops, making for big, beautiful notes of peach, passionfruit, and tropical radness over a backbone of ripe citrus.

This is a really solid galaxy-forward NEIPA with an abv bordering that of a DIPA. The other hops (mosaic, motueka and sultana) help to balance the passionfruit and tropical peachy flavors of the Galaxy with a nice floral punch that comes in during the second half of the sip. Well carbonated, look is spot on for a NEIPA and the nose is just full of fruity deliciousness. Smells more like a fruit smoothie than a beer.

Great NEIPA by itself but outstanding for a galaxy forward NEIPA

16 oz can into tulip glass
Canned on 12/9/19, about a month old

L: beautiful straw gold, hazy, delicate lacing across the top
S: Tropical hop bouquet, complex dank notes
T: Peach and passion fruit galore, nicely balanced by creamy, malt backbone
F: Medium body, easing drinking, refreshing

O: Another hop bomb for all the hop lovers out there (cheers!)

Poured from a 1 Pint can. Canned on 02/08/2020
A nice hazy pour not much of a nose just mild hops and bread notes.
A all around good hazy i did expect more it is 3 months old but in the fridge the whole time that can kill taste.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Orange tinged golden, hazy, fizzy head fades to collar. Hoppy aroma on the light side of dank, herbal. Taste also focuses on the hops, soapy, dank, musty. Maybe a touch of citrus here (grapefruit)and tropical there (melon), but this is pretty much all about the Galaxy

On tap at Rocket Dog Brats & Brews

A: Pours hazy deep golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some nice lacing.

S: Initial smell is actually pretty green like a bag of hops, but it slowly opens up to tropical fruit, zesty citrus, and pine, rounded out with biscuity malt and a touch of caramel sweetness.

T: Zesty citrus, lime, lemon, and grapefruit, grassy, resinous pine, some tropical fruit, pineapple, papaya, apricot, passion fruit, and peach, hints of melon, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness. Fresh passion fruit lingers on the finish.

M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, slightly prickly carbonation, yet still a bit creamy.

O: Not what I was expecting given the hop combo, but still a solid brew. It's hazy like a NE style, but it's got some bitterness like a West Coast style. I dig it.

Pint can poured in to a nonic glass. Canned on is 12/27/19.

Look, hazy, mid-toasty amber colored, a solid fluffy off-white head with great retention, nice sticky lacing. Light carbonation streaming as it sits.

Smell- Bright citrus (primarily lime and spicy lemon pith), pineapple and other tropical fruit, over ripe peach, light pine and some spicy/herbal hops.

Taste- Same as smell, a little bit of berries in there with a moderately bitter citrus and spice swallow at the end.

Feel- Medium but light on the tongue with some balancing malt taking over. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.

O- A solid offering from Modern Times. Not my favorite but I'd buy it again.

LOOKS: Big white foam, hazy, burnt orange.
AROMA: 3 month old can. Very mild tropical fruit, chewable vitamins. Subdued.
TASTE: A bit better in the flavor. Getting more tropical fruit. Just no real POP to this one.
FEEL: Average carbonation, medium body, fairly dry overall.
OA: I'd try it again if I found a fresher can.

Pours a bright orange color - completely opaque. Two finger off-white foamy head dissipates petty quickly.

Aroma is incredibly pungent with rich robust notes of peach, mango, mandarin orange, and some light green grape/white wine-esque notes.

Tate follows the nose with notes of peach, mango, orange, orange rind, green grapes, with some bitter herbal hops on the back end into the finish. Crackery/white bread malts provide a solid backbone.

Feel is medium bodied, light carbonation, bitter finish leaves a certain dry sensation on the finish.

Overall its a nice, well crafted NE style IPA.

Light orange-gold body with moderate haze and a bright white head of soft, soapy bubbles. Minimal head retention but very nice splotchy lacing. Looks like a hazy IPA, to be sure!

Deep, dank stone fruit (peach, nectarine, pear), tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit), and green grapes on the nose right out of the gate. Grassy, herbal, citrusy, with light green onion. Melon in the back ground and an almost horsey, yeasty (but not funky) finish, like a saison or hefeweizen. Kind of strange on the back end, but very juicy and hoppy otherwise.

Flavor profile is surprisingly mild and muddled for a Modern Times beer. Overripe stone fruit at the very front, then a very green, herbal, and mineral note takes hold. Green tea, guava, mashed berries, lemon, grapefruit, and then that hefeweizen persona of wheat, dank hay, and a little funk rushes back in. Sharp at times, slightly bitter, with little residual sweetness. Finishes dry and grassy. It's an interesting sipper in general, but not really what I'm looking for in a juicy IPA.

Very soft and silky with nice carbonation.

16oz canned 12/11/19. Opened 1/17/20.
Creamy and dense white head with stellar retention. Sits like a rock for a long time and leaves thick fresh lacing.
Orange-gold and opaque IPA.
Tropical fruits, stone fruits, and citrus...loads of hop aroma. A pineapple, peach, orange trifecta. A green weedy note is noticeable midway underneath the fruit. Honeydew melon late.
Orange and key lime. Melon plays a prominent note, more so in the flavor than aroma.
Full bodied, medium carbonation and a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Medium length finish with a creamsicle like flavor and a mild but persistent citrus rind bitterness.
Very good. First MT beer and I'm impressed. Fantastic looking beer and standout in the "feel".

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned 1/21/2020.

Giant and controlled, but a big fluffy very khaki light colored head, with very fine bubbles out of the can into the glass. It's retention is solid, if a little shampoo bubbly as it settles on a complete very light glowing orange and equal lemon yellow body.

Aroma is a wonderful subtle potted green tea. Where did this come from? Is this fade? Could be argued, could be enjoyed regardless. More so there's more of a melon like quality, this soft fruit sense that is really nice like a not so ripe cantalopue. Solid, but part of me wonders if I missed something in freshness? To be determined.

The palate truly brings the gift. A very good mouthfeel on the tongue, squirting tropical and citrus notes but with a honey like sweet softness on the palate. There' a bit of that tea herbal note sticking out, but it's a little unusual unlike any other tea like hop aroma I have smelled before. Hits with also some deep malt chewy character, like a dense oaty cookie to give some real contrasting sweetness as well.

Very fine world to enjoy here. Solid IPA from the Times.
