Pours clear, gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is fruity with light melon, mango, and orange. Light bodied, slightly sweet with moderate carbonation. Decent showcase of Mosiac. I have had a lot of exposure to Mosiac beers lately and this one does not pop like others. It is easy enough to drink, but still just an ok beer. I will most likely get other pales before this one.

A 12oz can with a presumed canning date of Feb 2017. Purchased a while back from the Brewdog webshop. Described on the label as a single-hopped pale ale brewed with Mosaic and a malt base of Golden Promise.

A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned. A rich, hazy amber hue with tons of suspended sediment and moderate carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.

S: Aroma of intense resinous hops with hints of pine, weed, citrus peel, herbs, subtle tropical fruit, ale yeast, earthiness and grainy malt. Satisfyingly hoppy and well balanced - good stuff.

T: Tastes of aromatic hops with notes of pine resin, dank weed, citrus rind, mild grapefruit, herbs, a hint of tropical fruit, earthiness, ale yeast and grainy pale malt. Faintly sweet, followed by a robust hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Could perhaps be a shade thicker given the strength. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, pine resin, weed, peel, earthy yeast and pale malt.

O: Not too shabby; plenty of hops on offer. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a blend of bitter pine-laden hops, modest fruitiness, earthy yeast and light malt. Decent body. Goes down a treat, even though I suspect the hop character has faded a little. Worth sampling if you come across it.

Poured from a bomber into a perfect pint glass.

Color is cop perish with a wheat hue. Excellent clarity. Sudsy pale white head. 5

Smells nice and fruity with some pineapple and mango. Seems to have a bit of buttered popcorn but maybe I’m crazy. Smells good overall though, just faint, not a bursting aroma. 3.75

I again notice a bit of butteriness, but also pineapple, passionfruit and mango. Segues into something earthier and resinous. Still showing notes of butteriness. Odd or off, I still like the beer. 3.75

Easy-drinker and light enough to be refreshing. Almost no bitterness, light carbonation and again, a bit of a butter feel that coats the mouth a bit. 3.75

Great flavor from the hops, but either from the hops or somewhere in the brew process, I’m getting some Land O’ Lakes.

Wonky low carb. Probably the keg tho. Will revisit.

Pretty standard and no frills American style IPA...golden color, a bit bitter on the hops, suggest this one to your lady friend who wants to branch out from Bud Light and get crazy but isn't ready for "the real thing" like this brewer's Truth or Knowledge.

I got a 6pck of this at the beer store around the corner. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of citrus potpourri. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

Pours a nice yellow orange with an off white head that fades fast. While pouring the fruitiness filled the air. Impressive smell, upon the pour it was mostly grapefruit, orange, citrus, but also has a healthy hoppiness as well. Taste starts with a nice hop and pine mix moving into the citrus flavors. The citrus dominate the finish and aftertaste with some lingering hop presence. Mouthfeel is smooth, good carbonation, medium and hearty. Overall a very nice pale ale, good flavors packed to the brim.

1 PINT, 6 FL OZ bottle
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours amber in color with golden highlight and a slight haze to it. It is topped with two inches of creamy, beige head that leaves some decent lacing.

It has a sweet floral smell with some citrus. There is a good aromatic balance between the malt and the hops.

It starts out with sweet bread flavor. Then I get some floral flavor with some citrus and a mildly bitter grapefruit finish.

Medium mouthfeel

Just when I was about to write Rhinegeist off they go an make a decent beer. I was very apprehensive about purchasing this beer, but it was not bad. The bombers of pale ales seem to be their wheelhouse.

Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter. Bottom of can says 012417.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains decently before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of sheer surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.

S- Classic Mosaic hop nose with that punch of spicy, citrusy zest.

T- Again, tastes like most of the other single hop Mosaic pale ales I've had before. Good, zippy, fruity hop flavor with a decent malt backbone but a pretty weak finish.

M- Somewhat sharp with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- Literally exactly what I expected, which is fine, but I was kind of hoping to be wowed. Either way, a decent beer that makes for a crushable hoppy session.

12oz can, served in a nonic glass. Date stamp on bottoM: 032118 N1022 MADE FOR SHARE SQUAD

Appearance: Gold to hints of orange/amber. Hazy - when held up to the light lots of finely suspended particles. Initial 1/4" white head died back to a thin persistent white skin, with thick sheets of persistent lacing.

Smell: Lot of fruit flavors - tropical fruits, hints of fresh cut citrus, mandarin oranges.

Taste: Lots of citrus hop flavor - again tropical fruit, mandarin oranges, a bit of grapefruit tartness. Cracker like malt underneath it allows the hop flavors to dominate the flavor, but not so much as to wear out the palate.

Mouthfeel: Prickly carbonation, a bit sticky on the teeth, a bit dry at the finish. Good thickness and maybe just a little chewy.

Overall / Drinkability: A very tasty and nicely hoppy APA that really does showcase this single hop well. Hoppy - but not overpowering and easily drinkable. I need to pair this with food and see how it does.
