This malty yet sneakily smooth Robust Porter simmers with tones of milk chocolate, carob and light molasses. Panther is a svelte creature of the night – a midnight malt whisperer.

Panther has a thick, creamy, beige head and a dark-brown appearance, with lots of lacing. The aroma is of brown bread crust. The flavor is of that element, with low bitterness and sweetness, chocolate, and a touch of coffee. Panther has a medium body, a velvety mouthfeel, and a dry finish.

12oz CANNED 12/03/2020 (3 months ago) poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 5.8% ABV. The beer pours very dark brown with sticky & prolific tan colored head. The head recedes slowly leaving a web of lacing and a half inch cap. The aroma is mild with notes of milk chocolate and roasted malt. The taste is bittersweet, tangy roasted malt with a hint of chocolate. Moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, really solid, tasty, unflawed robust porter.

12 oz. can poured into a pint glass with very dark brown almost black color, large tan head that quickly dissipates, and a decent amount of lacing. Smells of roasty/toasty malt, coffee, dark fruit, and cola. Taste follows aroma with notes of mocha, dark/chocolate malt, figs and some hop bitterness. Medium body, smooth with good carbonation and a semi sweet finish. Overall, a good robust porter with a balance toward semi sweet malt.

Pours dark coffee beige head with a little lacing. Semi sweet roasted caramel gives way to sweeter after taste. Maybe a touch more carbonation than best,

Pours a lovely rich brown with a thin tan head that dissipates swiftly leaving mild lacing.
Smell is malty sweet with light vanilla notes and some cocoa.
Taste is sweet, somewhat chocolatey, some rye like spiciness. Definitely gets nicer as it warms up.
Mouthfeel is fairly full but pleasantly light. Certainly drinkable, quaffable, and maybe even crushable.
Overall this is a pleasant enough porter, nothing that will knock your socks off but definitely something that could be enjoyed anytime of the year for a fan of dark beers.
