Dark as oil with a tan head. No lacing, probably due to abv. Nose is a sweet charred smell. Taste taste is charred, sweet, coffee flavor. Superb bourbon flavor.

500 ML bottle, presumed to be a 2019 release, poured into a tulip glass at 55 degrees F:
L - black with a hazelnut head that quickly evaporated
S - metallic, no hints of coffee
T - malt and a hint of coffee, this beer may have aged too long and had some fading of the coffee flavor
F - medium to thick mouthfeel with medium carbonation
O - pretty good, might have been better a little fresher

32oz crowler purchased Wednesday at J's Liquor Owensboro poured into a teku glass at fridge temp 10% ABV. The beer pours dense dark brown bordering on black with mocha brown head. Nearly no light penetration. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. A few tiny spots of lacing. The aroma is mild with lightly sweetened & creamed cold brew coffee. The taste is caramel with slight cream sweetness up front. Coffee & dark malt is in the background with a mildly bitter, slightly ethanol finish. The mouthfeel is medium plus in body with less than medium carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, good. I suspect this example is not in top condition. I would gladly try again under different circumstances

8-ball black with a moderate dark tan foam blanket.
Smell is peanut and red fruit while taste adds roasty, smoky malt that is almost like chocolate-covered bacon, with a smooth slick body, light sharp tang, big froth and semi-wet finish.

Pours black with less than a finger of khaki head. Head retention is minimal, with no lacing left behind. Aroma is milk chocolate, coffee, oak, and vanilla. Flavor profile is coffee, milk chocolate, lactose sugar, and a dash of vanilla. Mouth feel is medium-thick, but with a watery texture. It almost drinks like a slightly fizzy glass of whole milk. Overall, a fair stout with coffee. Coffee is kept at a nice volume, and supported by a pleasant stout.
