12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/24/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, lightly toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, lightly toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, spicy rye, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slightly increasing resin/rind astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, quickly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a great rye IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready/rye malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the increasing bitter/resinous/drying finish. Very dank and vibrant hops, with nice solid malt backbone. Nice rye presence without going overboard. The Citra/Mosaic hops work extremely well with the spicy characteristic of the rye malt. A very enjoyable offering.

A very nice "session" version of Truth to my relatively untrained mouth hole (session, in this case, being 6 percent ABV)...good nose, pleasant taste, and an overall thumbs up!

Not bad but I was expecting more based on the small sample size of Rhinegeist beers I have access to in Cleveland.

The Streaker is a solid beer. I got a 6pck from the beer store around the corner. It poured a clear orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. This is what I remember yhe original Z'dust tasting like. The Mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a fantastic beer.

Rhinegeist Brewery - Streaker. 6% ABV. 12oz can poured into a snifter.

Look: Hazy copper body with lots of floaties, and a white 3 finger head.

Smell: Sweet fruits, hops, and spicy rye malts.

Feel: Medium bodied and creamy.

Taste: Sweet fruit and bitter hops merge with the spicy rye malts and finish lightly bitter.

Overall: First time seeing this around here, so I picked up a six pack to try. New to the style of rye in beers, but it was a nice change.

Nice fruity start of oranges, nectarines, apricots and tangerines with a honey and caramel background. Finishes a bit piney and bitter. Very crisp and easy to drink.

translucent in the glass; floral hoppy smell; initially full in the mouth, then quickly turns to extremely dry, rye finish; peach comes through towards the end

22 ounce bottle, no date on the bottle/label that I was able to find. Served in a DFH IPA glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold/orange color with a couple inch frothy off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both very good. The brew smells like citrusy (mango, grapefruit, melon) hops, bready/grainy malt and a bit of peppery spice. I think the taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, but there's also some piney hops noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy, coating and easy enough to drink. I liked this brew, I might have to pick up another bottle this weekend! $6.99 a bomber.

I'm glad this one made it to 12 ounce cans so I can enjoy it a little more regularly. It pours To a Amber gold body and hosts a biscuity tan inch of fluffy, rocky head. The head has very solid retention. Nose is super hoppy and represents the rye spice well. The taste is very vibrant with flavors, including sharp fruit, dry hops and wonderful rye spiciness. It's crazy how an IPA can be both juicy and dry all at the same time this is a very solid IPA Rye or otherwise.
