A: yellow in color with some haze and a small white head.

S: tart with notes of cider and light peach.

T: tart and acidic with some light salt and a peach hint in the finish.

M: light body, very active carbonation. Somewhat dry finish.

O: overall pretty tasty, not as much peach as I would have thought, but it does have some lingering peach flavor.

Had on tap. Pours clear, light yellow in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is chardonnay wine, peaches, lime, lemon, and a touch of sea salt. Sweet and tart, light bodied, with moderate carbonation. Makes for a slightly above average gose, although a must try if you like white wine. Not a bad beer, just have had goses I prefer.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/3/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale straw/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy peach, lemon, lime, orange, green apple, melon, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, salt/spice, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart/tangy peach, lemon, lime, orange, green apple, melon, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; with light fruit tang and yeast spice on the finish. Lingering notes of tangy peach, lemon, lime, orange, green apple, melon, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, salt/spice, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tartness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/grainy/acidic, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a delicious Gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, salt/spice, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/lactic finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Not as lactic as I expected, but it has a nice solid amount. Really well balanced gose, with plenty of nice complexity. A very enjoyable offering.

From the 12 fl. oz. can stamped 051317. Sampled on July 1, 2017.

The pour is a slightly foggy yellow color with a modest white head that does not linger long.

The aroma brings out an array of characters including peaches (as promised), toasted bread, salt, but also an odd cooked vegetable character.

Light body and refreshing.

The taste is generally salty as one would expect from a Gose with a milder peach flavor that brightens things up a bit. Light finish.

Can dated 4-18-17. DFH Tulip.

A: pours a pale straw yellow with one finger bubbling white head. Loads of streaming carbonation. Not much retention or lacing.

S: sour and slightly wheaty aroma. Not really getting any peach.

T: light, crisp, tart arrival. Lactic mid palate; quite sour, but not excessive. Fizzy, clean mid-palate turns to a sour and peachy finish. The finish is natural peach essence, not artificial and not sweet.

M: light, fizzy, crisp, but not exactly clean. A little slickness remains on the palate.

O: I have not been a huge fan of sours, but this and the last o e I had (Rivertown Lambic) may have turned me around. I really like this, and would drink it again. It is not sweet, like its stablemate, Bubbles.
