First had at TGI Friday’s, Cedar Point, Ohio, on 23-oz. draft into heavy pilsner glass. This interesting beer comes in deceptively smooth, almost nitro-like, followed by a huge, fruity hop arrival over the substantial malt base.

L: Pours a honey yellow gold, with a medium creamy white head and patchy lacing all around the glass.

S: Notes of citrus, lime, lemon, strong floral and a bit of spice from the hops. Juicy ipa that still keeps some of the old school west coast elements.

T: Notes of citrus, some lemon and lime, a floral and strong bitterness, some earthiness and caramel. Nice West Coast style ipa.

F: Medium body, creamy carbonation.

O: This is a nice west coast ipa.

Amber colored body topped with a thick, white, sticky head. Very fruity aroma; citrus; lime and orange. Juicy, orange-like flavors well-balanced with a some fine hop bitterness; some toasted grains lurking in the background. Medium-heavy body; sticky; semi-sweet finish.

A very fine hop-forward IPA, clear and zesty with some nice depth and variation in every sip.

16oz draft served cold in a shaker pint at the Dingle House in West Chester Ohio. The beer pours bright light honey amber with off white head. The head recedes to a film but leaves beautiful rings of lacing. The aroma is pleasant citrus, pine and caramel. The taste is citrus forward with grapefruit peel then leaning toward a nicely bitter piney finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. There is some hop stickiness in the feel but it's not sweet. Overall, very good midwest-west coast hybrid IPA.

Pale amber color, clear by hoppy IPA standards, and pours a beautiful creamy just off white head.

Big hop nose even when cold, nice blend of pine and fruit. A bit of what I call hop solvent as it warms. A decent amount of caramel malt sweetness as well.

Flavor is classic American IPA. Some big malt character up front along with loads of pine-dominant hop flavors, assertive but not overpowering bitterness in the finish, and a clean, somewhat bitter finish.

Medium-plus body, medium carbonation. No astringency, and minimal warming. Feels like an IPA should.

In some ways it feels like a beer I've had before. Not trying to be the latest and greatest thing, but instead being more traditional and doing it well.
