Notes:
Rare are moments of truth, when you've struck the last match, belting out tunes with your friends, staring deep into the campfire-times when you feel infinite. Our truth is found in the scintillating brilliance of hops. Brewed with a nod to the pacific, hops sizzle with tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit & mango notes and a dry finish.

Standard look with a one inch eggshell head. Smells of spicy, citrus hops. Taste is bitter, then fruity. Nice hop flavor with. a good balance of malts. Medium, somewhat sticky feel. A winner.

Nice foamy but smaller head, nice lacing, light retention, crystal clear orange tan color
Nose sweet candy caramel malt, fruit, little citrus, stone fruit, candied fruit
Taste sweet candy malt, caramel, toasted reddish malt, big hops, bitter spicy hops with little citrus, grassy spicy, fair bitterness with good balance, finishes drier spicy
Mouth is med bod, touch syrupy, decent carb
Overall not bad, good old school ipa, nice hop bitterness, good balance, enjoyable

Canned on 7/10/18
Pours a clean shade of dark copper that sports a towering off-white cap; this is one damn nice-looking beer.
The aroma pops with crispy, dank mango, tons of grapefruit, fresh grass, passionfruit, and even a bit of pine cone; some sharp tones of earthy malt make their way in towards the finish along with some influential herbaceous qualities.
Taste brings blasts of hoppy, semi-tart grapefruit to the forefront, blanketing softer notes of grass, fruity hops, light and chewy grain, and crisp malt.
Mouthfeel has excellent body with a higher level of carbonation than most, which interacts really nicely with the beer's crisp notes for a soft and dry finish.
Really enjoyed the malt presence in this one, as it added so much without becoming an overwhelming presence fighting the hops for attention; overall just some really good stuff, and a dangerously crushable 7% at that.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate amounts of golden yellow + amber colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall cloudy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of finger thick pillowy head that covers the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and herbal hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + caramel malts with a hint of sweetness.
T: Upfront there is a just shy of moderate flavor of biscuit + caramel malts with a light amount of toasted malts and just a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and herbal hops which contribute a moderate amount of bitterness which lingers for a moderate amount of time.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: The lighter mouthfeel and well hidden alcohol make this beer quite easy to drink. Enjoyable with a nice combination of hop flavors + aromas and just enough of a malt backbone.

12oz can. 8/24/18 can date. Appearance: Dark golden and mostly clear. Quite a bit of coagulated protein floating. Fluffy white headcwith nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy, slightly spicy hop aroma. A touch of roasted bread as well.
Taste: Caramel and toasted bread crust maltiness dominate upfront. Slight grapefruit hop character that builds to a strong bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation.
Finish: strong lingering bitterness and bread crust maltiness
Overall: Decent take on the more traditional american IPA, with a bigger malt backbone to balance the aggressive bitterness. Has the caramel and bread crust maltiness typical of the original AIPA style. Hop aroma is relatively restrained, leaning towards a traditional citrus/grapefruit as opposed to common tropical fruit aromas found these days. Has a heavier body as well

32oz Boston round growler from the brewery.
Pale brassy hue, great clarity with a good enough froth to keep things going. Big citrus, sweet piney nose with hints of dried grass, tobacco, melon rind and pineapple. Mild smoothness, a tad creamy, chewy medium body. Aggressive resin hop character, citric and piney with an ample bitterness. Mild biscuity malt backbone, spicy, hint of yeast, clean, and bread crust in the finish.
A solid American IPA, without a doubt on the bold side. Very clean and drinkable. A real treat here.

Aroma: Soft melon and tropical fruit character up front. Light honey blossom notes. Clean fermentation character.
Appearance: Hazy amber pour with golden edges. A lot off-white head retains well. Appears still in the glass.
Flavor: More melon and grapefruit character. Flavor is supported by firm and earthy hop bitterness. Balance is to the hop bitterness. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste lingers with powdery hop resins.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied and medium-high carbonation. No astringency, oiliness, or heat detected.
Overall impression: An easy drinking well crafted American IPA. I'm not sure it stands above the crowd given the options we have here in Central OH. Worth a try.

So this is one of the beers I picked up at Belmont Party Supply in Dayton, Ohio while visiting my buddy for the weekend. This looks and smells awesome, with a big rocky head and a complex citrus blend in the nose.
This is a really solid drinking IPA with lemon and grapefruit wrapped around a solid malt backbone. Really pleasant bitterness level, and goes down really easy for 7.2%.

On-tap 11/27/2016 at Natty Greeneās Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains citrus, caramelized malts and earthy hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and citrus. Then a strong but not over-powering earthy hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a while.
