Twelve ounce can pours a hazy straw colored brew. Big rocky three finger head that dissipates slowly. Slight film remains to the bottom of the glass. Smells of yeast, hoppy citrus with lots of pineapple. Taste is mildly bitter up front and lasts throughout. Grapefruit up first with the lingering bitterness already mentioned. Flavors don't seem to complement each other. Slightly overly carbonated which leaves the beer a little thin and watery. The long lasting bitter aftertaste that lingers far after the drinking definitely does not leave one wanting another.

Canned on 12/14/16. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a light golden with a subtle haze but still has some clarity to it; small white head that fades leaving solid retention and nice lacing. The aromas are very nice. Very bright and vibrant. Lots of ripe tropical fruit. Lots of peach, mango and pineapple. The Belgian characteristics seem almost nonexistent and lost due to the hops, but it still smells great nonetheless. The flavors basically follow the nose. The flavors are hop forward as well. More fresh tropical fruit along with some hints of grapefruit. Some hints of fresh grass in the mix. The Belgian characteristics become a bit more noticeable in the flavor department, especially in the finish. The yeasts give this one a nice sweetness, but it's definitely more bitter than sweet. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light with very active carbonation. It's smooth and pretty easy to drink.
This is a great brew. Very nice showcase of hops. The Belgian characteristics might take a backseat, but everything still works. This is possibly the best beer I've had from Rhinegeist, to date.

On the front end I get a smooth apricot and peach flavor before it yields a Belgian yeast. Slightly bitter hops come out before a tea leaf malty backbone. It finishes with more citrus tones. Good stuff!

Light cracker malt, faint yeast, and traces of fruit on the nose. Very light citrus on the tongue, chased quickly by hay and cut grasses. Mild peppery spice and crisp hop bitterness. Pretty good.

12oz can poured into a pint glass
A; Slightly hazy pale yellow with a one-finger head that settles to a fine lacing
S: Belgian yeast front and center with light malt, a hint of stone fruit and light hop notes
T: The Belgian yeast again takes center stage with bitter though nondescript hop notes showing along with light stone fruit
M: Light but with distinct bitterness and light but noticeable carbonation
O: Definitely worth a try though there are better examples of the style. Yeast-forward, the support is there but the hops/malt could show more unique notes

Poured from can into oversized snifter.
This is a really pretty beer. Light golden body with a fluffy white head that reduces to a little bit of lacing.
Banana esters quickly move out of the way for a spicy nose. Slight wheat malt and grapefruit if agitated enough. Smells great.
Loses character with the flavors. The spices come through but the malt doesn't. There's a bitter finish but little semblance of hops.
Light body doesn't bode well for this. A thicker backbone would certainly improve this beer.
Overall this beer is definitely worth a try. It looks and smells gorgeous. I hope Rhinegeist keeps playing with the grainbill because I think this could be a really stellar beer. All that to say, it's a good summer drink.

Pours a very light straw color, almost with a slight greenish tint. If my eyes arent playing tricks on me and the greenish hue is true, this may be a color I've never seen before in a beer.
Aroma is heavily of citrus hops, some strong piney notes, and belgian yeast. Possibly a note of cloves in the background.
Hoppy, citrusy, tart, herbal flavor, but all mildly so. Nothing is overly done and none of the flavors overpowering. Pine needle finish in the flavor.

Pours a hazy light amber, deep straw colored body. Head is thick with tight bubbles of very light tan foam. Retention is very nice and leaves rocky waves of lace. Nose is of lemon zest, pickle juice and fresh cut straw. With first sip I get concentrated citrus juice and prickly pine. The mouthfeel is almost abrasive with raw fresh cut vegetation and yeasty notes. The flavors are just ok to me and while it is decently drinkable, everything seems just a little discombobulated here.
