330ml bottle, 0.0% ABV, a single from the local 'super' grocery store, which looks very much like 'Beck's Blue', but says nothing of the kind, so I'm going with the generic translation selection here.
This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, billowing white head, which leaves a few layered bands of cirrus cloud lace around the glass as it evenly and stoically bleeds away.
It smells of warm breakfast cereal - bready, grainy, in an overcompensating sort of manner, but that's perhaps my own bias - with a hint of aged lemon juice, and almost crisp grassy, leafy noble hops. The taste is more thankfully subdued grainy cereal malt, a certain skunky grassiness, twinges of indistinct citrus notes, and a stoney flintiness.
The bubbles are rather sedate and generally non-interactive, the body medium-light in weight, and smooth, with little aiding or detracting in the matter. It finishes off-dry, the grainy cereal character trailing off a fair bit, as does the threat of green-bottle Euro-skank.
Once again, those Germans know how to make lagers, even the kind without an ingredient that readily defines beer. Not great, but drinkable enough, if you happen to be in the unfortunate position to make this sort of thing your regular go-to.

12 oz green bottle
Appearance: From the bottle, but it’s frothy and has a huge white head.
Aroma: Kind of corny and adjuncty. Somewhat off putting.
Taste: Follows nose, unfortunately. Much sweeter than I’d prefer. Malty in a way that reminds me of Malta Goya or something.
Mouthfeel: Also heavier than it should be considering what it is. You want this to be cold, light and easy. It’s not those things. (To be fair it’s not cold because I’m drinking this slowly while at the bowling alley.)
Overall: This kinda sucks, NGL. There are better NAs out there. There might not be worse ones, honestly.

Another soapy tasting bland NA green bottled beer, not particularly pleasant tasting, but you get used to it and the soapiness subsides a little into the background of worty blandness. oh bother.

From a green bottle stamped 05-2024. Sampled October 19, 2023.
It looks fine with its golden, heady pour and good clarity.
Aroma of grains, floral hops, light seltzer, and skunkiness. Too bad about that.
The mouthfeel is light to medium, which I found to be better than expected.
The taste is sweet, grainy, and slightly hopped but ending clean and crisp.

The bottle, the pour, and the presentation are fine. However, there is an off-putting taste that I can't quite put my finger on...almost reminds me of eggs?...sour, sort of skunky tasting. Possibly in and out of refrigeration too many times. The bartender jokingly said "cat urine". Who knows?. I'm sorry but I do not recommend this beer at all. Becks can definitely do better.

Why does this taste so much like tea leaves? Isn't this just supposed to be an NA lager like Heineken 0.0? Idk. I realize I'm not into NA beers but I will not be trying this again

Sept. 2002: Fizzy straw coloured water with some unpleasant metallic bitterness. I can't believe I actually paid for this. Insipid and uninteresting n/a beer.

Had with a meal in Germany, as there were no "real" beers in the house and I had never tried an NA beer before. Frankly it's a bit bizarre and there's definitely something missing taste-wise. That being said, it's not bad at all. I just have no desire to drink another one.

Pours a crystal clear golden color. Thick 3-4 finger sudsy white head forms on the beer before dissipating. Thin layer of velvety foam remains on the top of the beer. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, a slight skunkiness, light herbal hops. Again, its very reminiscent of a Beck's.
Taste follows the nose with notes of sweet grainy malts, a moderate skunkiness that becomes more pronounced as it warms up. There is a very light wortiness to the profile, but its very subtle. Feel is light, crisp, easy drinking. Bright carbonation.
This is a solid NA version of the regular beer.

This is my entry-level NA. I won't purchase Sharp's, O'Douls, or Coors Edge.
If Beck's NA is all the store or restaurant has then I'll go with it. It can pair okay with most foods because it doesn't have an overwhelming taste profile.
