Nice little place right in the middle of town. Excellent selection of beers on tap and in bottles.
Food is bar food with the usual twists that all places offer nowadays. Had a burger and fries.

Excellent collection of whiskeys as well.

Overall vibe is OK. There are a handful of good-sized TVs if you're there to watch sports. The interior is very dimly lit, with just enough lighting to still clearly make out faces (and your beer). Overall volume level is low, which is nice.

Brew selection and quality is very good. A hair over 20 taps, with a handful of macro handles. There are definitely some good selections for craft aficionados. The bottle selection had some very nice choices, at unsurprisingly high prices, of course.

Service was unfailingly pleasant and prompt, from the greater, to the bus, the bartender, the waiter - everyone was upbeat and positive. I can easily say this is the best vibe a wait staff has given me from top to bottom.

I tried the burger and fries; the fries were fantastic, and the burger was quite good (hint: add bacon!).

My fave! Awesome draft and bottle beer selection - up to date and constantly changing. They have a great list of whiskey as well. Their cocktails are unique and tasty. If Dave (the owner & manager) is working, sit at the bar and chat with him - you can be sure to have a great time and great drinks. There is a more "social crowd" area in the front with long wooden tables, or more smaller tables in the main area. There is also a shuffleboard table in the back for all you players and TVs showing all the games for you sport fans. The ambiance is dark, cozy, trendy, but a little on the loud side. The food....well, I can't say much about anything besides the burger, which is so JUICY! A definite must have! As far as the other items, I don't know because I never can seem to order anything new, I always am suckered back to the burger. The only con of P+J would be service, its a little on the slow side. But all the pros definitely outweigh that. Like I said at the start, my fave!

This place is my spot. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is lively but still cool and toned down. The beer selection is great and the beer pairing to food is a lot of fun and adds that extra sense of adventure. Its not something you would expect to find in Hawaii but for locals its definitely a great change from the everyday beach vibe (not complaining about that bc its great). It reminds me of a old school pub. The lighting is done with the Edison bulbs so the lighting is that unique yellow dim light that just gives it that calm feel. There are tvs but no one is really watching them because there is a lot of conversation going on so the place can get loud but its not to bad. They also have a wide variety of bourbon, scotch, Irish, Japanese and American whiskies. They also make great cocktails and the food is amazing. Definitely a must visit. Recommend go with a couple friends cause its a very social place.

Ate here November 26, 2013. Was in town on business and had the wife with me, a customer and I were out for drinks by the ship harbor, and decided to move on to a place to eat, and enjoy more beer.

This place is in a rather small, cramped strip plaza. All parking on Oahu is at a premium to begin with, so parking down the street is going to be the likely bet. Looks very unassuming from the outside, and far removed from the touristy areas and hotels.

Open the door and wham! The place is PACKED to the walls at 7pm on a Tuesday. It's loud, raucous, and people are having a lot of fun. The burgers and their house chips are outstanding. Several tap handles to choose from. They have a chalk board above the bar that spells out the special taps for the night, and there were probably about 15 give or take.

I had some nice fresh Sculpin which was oh, so good.

Has a English pub vibe going on, super lively. If you want to get away from the strip by the beach, this is a nice change of pace.
