Very Good
Notes: This gose gets its pinkish hue from hibiscus. The floral and fruity nose precedes a slightly tart flavor that is soft and refreshing. Finishes crisp with subtle notes of salt and coriander.

Had it on tap at the wonderful bar and bottle shop Top Hops NYC, the venue that was formative in my introduction to craft beer.
Pours an amber color with a sunset reddish hue. Translucent and slightly on the darker side, it leaves a moderate foam head that retains well.
The aroma transports me to the farm. Scents of barnyard, hay and horses hit the nose with earthiness. Lemon and sour blood orange rise up to greet the farmhouse aromas and soon overpower them with their tart and acidic sting.
In the mouth the zest of lemons, tart citrus fruit, and wild yeast add an acidic tingle that is both bold and refreshing. Light bodied but approaching medium due to a fullness of flavor and complexity. Certainly not a one dimensional brew in that I detect an understated sweetness from a blend of malt and wheat as well as juiciness from citrus fruit. The finish is intensely dry adding to its drinkability.
A refreshing and complex wild ale that is a fine example of the style.
