If I could rate the service a 10, I would. Whenever I'm in a new area I try to grab something local that I can't get in DC and had no clue on their hours but BeerAdvocate rated them the highest in KOP and now I see why. Rolled up an hour after they closed and they opened up so I could grab something quick. Ended up chatting about beer, sampling some local stuff and then working out a 12/12 so I could have two beers to try. Great selection and great guys to just chat beer. Might be the best time I've ever had at a beer outlet. Keep it up, guys. I'll be back.

This place is the Costco of beer! Tons of great stuff from all over the place; I'm from Chicago and they even had a local brewery available (Off Color's "Fierce"). Other highlights included Grapefruit Sculpin (in cans!), a case of Russian River Damnation, Bell's, Dogfish, and lots of East Coast goodies you can't readily find in the Midwest. Talked to the owner, Joe, who was super helpful and knowledgable. He explained the strange liquor laws of Pennsylvania, and how his shop required you to buy beer by the case. Like I said, the Costco of beer. But since I wasn't able to buy a whole case, he cut me a deal and bought the other two six packs. Thanks, Joe!

Very nice old fashioned PA beer distributor with an excellent focus on craft beer. On Thursday there is usually a free tasting where locals gather to try interesting new beers. Get on their email list for relevant specials. Price margins seem razor thin, and service is beyond exceptional. I've never left dissatisfied.

I knew of this place having new ownership recently but I kept going to my old local stand-bys. I decided to stop by today because the wifey needed some lima ritas and my fridge was getting depleted.

Anyway, really nicely spread-out and well organized. Alphabetically by brewer for the most part which I prefer to the "by region" other places do. I don't know where some breweries are located but I know where there are alphabetically. Labels with price, abv. and some other info is there for the beers on the shelves

They had just about all of the standards you'd expect in a PA distributor. Nothing really rare but Joe admits as such. He doesn't want expensive stuff hanging around aging (at least those not intended to age). But he says he can get just about anything distributed to PA if you ask/pre-order. Nice!

Joe was there helping the customers politely and made it known the people in his place were the priority. Not pushy at all and very friendly. He's a fellow BA.

I didn't check bit asked about sixtels. Nothing interesting was currently in stock, but again they could get what you want.

Overall, a great beer buying experience. I walked out with wifeys ritas and a case of some Bengali for myself. Great price!

anyone in SEPA should give this place a try. Great service and great prices. I'll be back here for sure. Thanks Joe.

I stopped by this place one day while coming through KOP. I had heard about it here on BA and thought I would stop. It's right on Henderson Road near the new shopping center they are putting in and right next to the McDonalds. Hard to get to right now with the construction. From a conversation with the owner(I believe he was the owner) Joe he said they just took over and are changing things from BMC to more craft centric.

Atmosphere: This area needs a little work. Very plain and warehouse-y with stuff sort of laying around in certain areas. The craft beer area though is very well set up and organized with all prices displayed prominently. It surely needs a more "welcoming" feel to it, but hopefully that changes in due time.

Quality: What craft inventory they had was all good stuff. Locals and other quality breweries were represented.

Service: This was excellent. As I entered, Joe asked if I was looking for anything specific, then proceeded to show me the stuff I was asking about (if he had it). I spent a good 15 minutes just shooting the sh** about beer. Real nice guy that really wants to help.

Selection: This is where the place lacks a little. What they had was good stuff, but there was a lot of stuff they didn't have that I know you can get in PA. Russian River, Port, Lost Abbey, Jolly Pumpkin etc (all expensive stuff by the way) was missing. Keg and sixtel selection was tiny. But give credit, Joe said they were constantly expanding and when he took over their craft beer entailed about 5 cases.

Value: Good solid prices and they have weekly specials that are fantastic. When I was there he had 2 Hearted on sale for $39.99, a great price.

Overall the place has potential, but has a way to go yet. Still, I'd visit again and I am pulling for him to succeed. The only problem is he has a powerhouse in Kunda Beverage not far away. Good luck Joe, I will be back.

To my understanding, this store has been taken over by new management within the last 6 months or so, and old management had basically run the store into the ground. Once the transaction occurred, there were about 4 cases of beer and a few working lights in the building. Since then it's been cleaned up.

Was hoping to visit the historic parts of the town on a road trip back home, but it was closed so we just kind a checked the area and I found this place on BA. Walked in and it looks good for what you can find in PA. For anyone reading this who isn't aware, beer stores in PA can only sell beer by the case so many of them look like warehouses and garages due to all the stacked boxes. Not really a ton to say here, plenty of stacked boxes of beer, a few end caps, with shelves and more stacked boxes of beer. Looks like there's a little more room than they need right now, but from what I gather from the employee, they are expanding the inventory pretty regularly and rapidly.

Quality was good. Everything was dated on it so you could see. Most cases that were on shelves had a tag in front of it with the brewery, beer name, style, ABV, IBU and price. I was pretty impressed by that. There were some exceptions, like some of the BMC products and various mix packs and I don't think they were completely caught up yet.

I know I only visited once, but service was perfect, absolutely perfect. My wife and I walked in and we were at first the only customer. Joe was the only employee on, he came out, greeted us and asked if we needed help. I told him we were just passing through and wanted to look around for anything I can't get in MA. He then went on to ask me what my favorite styles are and walked me through each aisle explaining what was what, how long it'd been on the shelf, what's selling and so on. He'd definitely been studying, he had memorized most of the ABV and IBU contents. As soon as more customers start to come in I told him to please help them and that'd I'd be content just browsing a bit. After another few minutes when it had died down a bit more he saw me playing on my phone, he asked if I was looking for stuff online to which I confirmed, he then gave me his laptop to be used. Pretty impressive customer service in my opinion.

Selection was very good and to what I've been told it's growing. Plenty of the BMC products as would be expected but all of the heavy hitters in craft beer were there as well. Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, Stone, Rogue, Founders Anderson Valley, Breckenridge, Southern Tier, to more regional stuff like Deschutes, Great Lakes, Bell's,Victory, Heavy Seas, Allagash, Smuttynose, Troeg's, Coronado, to smaller more local stuff like Yard's, Voodoo, and Old Forge. Really good selection overall, if it weren't for having to purchase a case, I would have bought more.

I'm not an experienced buyer by the case, but based on what I've gotten in the state, the prices seemed very fair. I ended up getting an Old Forge variety pack. 4 - 16oz. tall boys 6 packs for $40. I think the non variety were $37 or so. Like I said I wish I could've bought more.

Overall this was a really good experience. The place is a little tough to find right now due to some construction going on in the nearby mall, but this place has some serious potential. With that HUGE mall and Valley Forge being all in the same town, this could be a prime spot for out of tonwers to pick up some craft beer. I know I'd come back.
