L: Dark mahogany red color with a finger of head.
S: Malty, some hints of wheat, and hints of rye.
T: Very nice taste and balanced. Easy drinking for 6.5%.
F: Nice balanced feel. Easy drinking and malty.
O: I would have this again, but this time for the fall. This is a good one and much better than Conflict of Interest.

Appearance - Pours a rusty amber with two fingers of off-white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, floral, weedy, and musty hops, caramel, toffee, apple, dark fruits (fig, plum, and raisin), bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, floral, weedy, and musty hops upfront then quickly goes into the caramel, toffee, bready malts, dark fruits (fig, plum, and raisin) and apple. The brew is rounded out by the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and tad sweet from the malts and dark fruits.
Overall - A malty and fruity and a bit of a sweet red ale. I prefer mine with some hop presence so if you like your red ales quite mild then this one is for you.

I am a big fan of Red Ales. This one is probably one of my FAVORITES! The smell is malty, toasty. This beer was introduced to me by one of my previous bosses. If you are a red ale fan, I would definitely recommend El Rojo! It will not disappoint!

Pours a transparent burgundy-brown with two fingers of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is toffee, caramel and nutty, earthy, bready malts and zesty, herbal hops. Toffee comes on and then spreads a brewhouse balance. Flavor profile is earthy, nutty, caramely, bready, biscuity malts with zesty, herbal, spicy hops. Subtle toffee and caramel add to the bready sweetness. Mouth feel is still, with a light level of effervescence. It has a medium thickness. Overall, malt heavy with a heavy bread quality, with little flavor spinoffs adding a little nuance and complexity.

I love me a tasty amber and this...is...tasty. Pretty color (I’d like to take a swim), smells divine, mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side but overall, I approve!

Surprisingly tasty, well-crafted beer. Nice dark red-copper color with some fluffy white head and minimal lingering lacing. Smells of some nice fruit, malt and caramel. Tastes similarly, along with some faint fruity hops, vanilla and bread. Smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel with good carbonation. Will check out more from this local brewery.

Darker amber with light head from the tap. Smells sweet and fruity. Tastes of strong candied Carmel with and alcohol kick.

Sweet, savory, flavorful, those would be the best words for the glorious taste of this beer. I figured I would change my rating because I forgot how awesome it was.
