A - Pours a hazy golden orange with a two finger foamy white head. Nice amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is juicy apricot, peach, green apple and a good amount of funkiness.

T - The taste follows the aroma. Juicy apricot, lemon, green apple, white vinegar, funk and leather. The finish has an acidic acetone edge.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel with a dry finish.

O - A nice fruited sour. Good mix of juicy apricot and lactic funkiness.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, 2015 vintage bottling. Listed as 7.25%. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy apricot, sour lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, pear, white grape, honey, candi sugar, light white wine vinegar, hay, straw, funk, pepper, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy apricot, sour lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, pear, white grape, honey, candi sugar, light white wine vinegar, hay, straw, funk, pepper, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of fruity/acidic tartness and earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, light vinegar, honey, hay, straw, funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity. robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/acidic/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/acidic, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fruited sour ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced acidity. A very enjoyable offering.

22oz bottle. Cloudy gold, quick-flashing, moderate, off-white fizz. Ripe peach & apricot juice nose. Lots of fruit presence plus a tart, acetone edge. Medium+ body and carbonation.

Poured into a snifter this beer is the color and head of apricot juice. Smell is apricor, apple, tart, lemon, citrus, and some hay. Taste is apricot, lemon, apple tart, white grape, nectarine, and a little bit like carrot (in a good way). Mouth feel is moderate and crisp and the body as well. A big apricot sour, exactly as expected.
