750ml bottle poured into pint glass.

A - Pours a ruby brown with 3 fingers of off white head. Semi-murky.

S - I get a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar in the aroma.

T - The taste is more complex than I was expecting. I definitely taste each of the ingredients listed on the label: oats, cinnamon, raspberry, and brown sugar. Cinnamon is the strongest, followed by brown sugar, raspberry, and rounded out with a subtle oat flavor. Quite sweet, no bitterness or hoppiness to speak of.

M - Sticky sweet body with very high carbonation. The carbonation is a bit too much for this style.

O - I was surprised by this one. The flavors synergized well with each other. The over-carbonation was the main thing that held this back.

Large shared (thanks Todd) bottle.
This is a really fine yet distinctive fruit beer. Excellent balance. Slightly tart and a bit more sweet. Very good complexity with some woody notes.

Mud brown pour with a tan and airy one-finger head. Somewhat medicinal aroma. Taste has a sugary raspberry syrup flavor. A more natural raspberry flavor rather than the syrupy flavor and I would have rated it better.

Interesting blend of Raspberries, cinnamon, and brown sugar, but offset by a plastic finish.
