Had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by this beer. So
Solid all around. Sweet pineapple on the first taste wth some pepper heat on the back once the beer warms. An enjoyable beer with an abv that sneaks up on you.

Was really looking forward to this beer while barbecuing today but I'm afraid it came up very short of expectations. Nice white head with some pretty lacing. Bubbles flowing up after the pour. It's a gorgeous beer to look at. Downhill from there...smell was grain, no pineapple, no pepper. Taste followed with just a slight hint of pineapple and just a bit of heat...really expected to be blown away by this combo. Barrel taste was just enough to mute everything else out to much. Feel is very thin. Overall a big letdown from what I was expecting.

I don't know why, but I hated this beer. The color is beautiful and there is a slight touch of pineapple on the nose, but the flavor is totally off. It tasted like a really strong german beer with bits of weird farmhouse funk mixed in. The flavor profile just didn't work for me, and I ended up drain pouring most of it.

Smells dramatically of tequilla, not in an awesome way. A light crisp beer with much less tequilla on the tongue than i was expecting, though still tastes of cheap booze. Overall its nice but not something i would buy again.

Wood on the nose and palate, maybe more pronounced on this golden ale. A bit hazy with rising streams of carbonation. I want to really love this beer, but the wood is the main player. The spiciness of the peppers barely glimmers through but is present. Wondering if a little less time in the barrel would have been a better course of action (less is more?). Still, I enjoyed this beer thoroughly.
