Not sure if I concur with the Spice/herb/vegetable category, tastes like a Belgian ale with a little extra flavoring of chestnuts. Looks and smells like a Belgian (maybe Biere de garde), additional nutty taste. Dry finish, but overall, pretty good.

Pours a hazy amber with a slightly off-white head from the bottle. Intriguing beer. It is a Chestnut beer - that is it's attraction. I enjoyed it, but I can't say I tasted the Chestnut in it.
