Located in downtown Winters, Preserve is actually an upscale joint. Walk in, they've got all the pickled/jarred olives, olive oil, pickles and other shit, metal bar that is really impressive in its appearance. The place looks like every single thing in it (except the shuffleboard) is brand new. Very clean.

Out back they have a little beer patio/garden. A cool little beer truck with plants growing in it, little stone waterfalls. Nice, but damn its hot in July!

Back inside, the shuffleboard is awesome. Well maintained, a little slight pull to the right side if you're throwing with your back to the patio, but hey, anyplace with shuffleboard (the greatest bar game ever) is going to rate highly in my book.

Awesome selection, I drank Aroma Prieta, Aroma Coma, Alpha and Omega Sessions from Drake's. Also had a Femme Fatale from Evil Twin. Hop Snob from Auburn. Those are some legit finds anywhere, much less in Winters.

Service was plenty cool and helpful. The only gripe I have is that they don't serve anything ordinary on tap in sizes smaller than 15oz. Its a minor complaint though when the beer is so good, you just have to kind of pace yourself.

The wings were phenomenal. Pricey, but phenomenal. Lots of cheese plates, meat plates etc. . . High couture bar food without the attitude.

Highly recommended. I WILL BE BACK!!!

This is a neat place to get some food or beer. They carry lots of local beer. The tap list could be more specific as far as ABV on lower alcohol beers and updated tap menus for tables. It's best just to go to the bar and look at the board the way it's run now. Still good beers, fair pours, and fair prices. Cheese plate could have more cheese and less almonds. Smoked salmon is extremely good.

Stopped in here for an early dinner on a Sunday. I had thought of going to Berryessa, but my wife was hungry, and I knew this place would carry some of their beers.

Atmosphere is great. Located in the pretty cool looking old downtown of Winters. You can tell that somebody spent some serious coin in decorating this place. Really nice looking industrial/reclaimed type of vibe going on. A nice wrap around bar, a handful of TVs, and plenty of seating. They have a full size shuffleboard table which is worth 1/2 point at least, and a very nice looking patio out back.

Quality and selection are both quite good. They had Berryessa, Stone, Auburn, and quite a few nice imports. All in all, I think they had at least 20 taps.

Service was prompt and friendly, all I usually ask for.

Food was tasty. My wife and I split a nice pizza. And I saw some of the other food items that other patrons ordered and they looked good as well.

Prices were pretty fair, my Berryessa pint was $4.50. And our food was reasonable as well. I did see some stuff on the menu that looked a bit spendy though.

Overall, an excellent public house, and in Winters of all places.
