(A) Pours dark brown. A thin head forms then fizzles out. Visible carbonation.
(S) Smoky with a mellow sweet aroma of caramel. Slight bready smell.
(T) Sweet taste upfront, almost like cola or even Dr. Pepper. Then fades out to a smooth, slightly dry and bitter after taste.
(M) Crisp carbonation. Not bold bodied.
(D) A very good beer. Nice and refreshing, but not as heavy as expect from a darker beer.

Appearance: Translucent brown body, thin tan head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. Some bubbles from bottom of glass.

Smell: Malty and nutty, slightly astringent. Some hints of barley and wheat.

Taste: Not a lot, actually. A bit of malt up front and a dry finish and vaguely unpleasant aftertaste. Just not a lot here.

Mouthfeel: Fairly thin, but not badly so.

Drinkability: Not a great beer, or even a very good beer, but certainly drinkable.

Pours a very clear light brown-copper color with a small off-white head that fades fairly quick to a fair coating. A little bit of lacing.

Toasty, burnt coffee smell with quite a bit of corn syrup-esque sweetness. Has a bit of a chalky mineral nose to it, somewhat reminiscent of a British brown ale. Smell is pretty faint and not exactly mouth watering.

Taste is mostly sweet caramel and toasty malts. Not much in the way of hops and is pretty light bodied, but it does have a bit of a creamy feel to it and mineral flavors. The taste is a bit better than the nose and is pretty drinkable. It is not exactly impressive, but it is not a bad tasting beer. Tastes more like a British Brown to me.

Pours a fairly rich brown color with average carbonation and a thin white head that faded but didn't completely disappear. Aroma mainly of caramel malt with a little hint of nondescript hops.

First impression is a bit of hops bitterness, that swiftly shifts into a caramel - tinged sweetness. A little interest in the interplay between the caramel and sweetness with a just enough hops in the background to keep it just shy of cloying.

There's a little richness to this brew, but mainly from the sweetness rather than a good base malt body. I could drink another, but I'd rather have something else.

Pours a clear dark brown. 1/2 inch head of only a slightly off-white color. Poor retention and no lacing. Smells of an earthy malt with what I believe is adjunct. At this point I'm already not looking forward to trying this beer, but I hope it gets better than in its' aroma. Poor example of the style, and I'd rather think it doesn't fit the style at all. Crisp, smooth, and low carbonation, but too thin (watery). Tastes of adjunct mostly and a slightly malt background. Wow, what a major disappointment. This is definitely not worth trying, wow tastes more like a dark American Adjunct, then a brown.

Pours a dark amber with a huge head and actively climbing carbonation.

Aroma is of grassy, spicey hops and herbal tea. Sweet roasted malt and sweetgrass.

Flavor is bitter roasted malt at first and then turns to a sweet corny adjunct flavor. DMS and wet cardboard are prevalent. The bitterness finishes with more DMS and overcooked vegetables.

Thin bodied and overly fizzy.

Won't be returning to this one.
