Appearance: Hazy golden brown color with a moderate off-white head, which lingers quite well, being constantly renewed by streams of carbonation. The lacing is abundant, coarse, and broken.
Aroma: Predominately pine tar hops, with a base of honey-like malt.
Taste: Opens with a rather grainy astringent note; slightly bready notes follow on. Finishes quite dry with a fusilade of lingering pine tar hops.
Mouth feel: Smooth and full, with a mild sting of carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A quite pleasant pale ale, although it seems excessively dry.

Can from the local ABC. Only a few locals aside from Maui & Kona are distributed down here, plus a scattering of New Belgium. Lots of cans here have these extra rims on the top that are very distinguishing, but require their own uniquely-sized 6 pack topper.
Rare Vos glass just because I can. Slight foamer. Slightly hazy dark gold brew. Lingering, rigid off-white head.
Smell mildly of steel, grass, soap & dry malt.
Tastes of dry malt, soft citrus hops upfront with a slight crispness. Moderate carbonation after all the theatrics. Very thin despite the fair amount of malt coming through. Bottom 3rd of the can may change things if you're heavy handed. User preference. Dry, herbal finish. Refreshing.
Good.
