EDH is our signature Imperial IPA and crowd favorite! It is named after not only our location, El Dorado Hills, but also after the large amount of El Dorado hops we use in this beer. Also brewed with Citra and Eureka hops, this beer has nice bitterness with a touch of citrus. Certainly not a malt-driven IPA, we add just enough to make this beer nice and easy-drinking, especially for a big abv beer.

Delicious double. ABV at 8.2 keeps this one from getting too boozy. Fresh citrusy hops with a smooth understated finish, stays away from the heavy-malty-sweet back of the palate common to so many imperials. Seems to be a new trend, reminds me of Transmigration Of Souls for those familiar with Orpheus in Atlanta.

Such a great DIPA. Packed with aroma and flavor. Such a good beer from Mraz - I would put it up against any other DIPA.

Pours a half finger of head on a hazy medium straw body.
The aroma is pine and grapefruit.
The taste is bold pine bitter with a bracing bitter finish.
The texture is crisp but thick body.
Good.
