Poured from the glass into a nonic pint glass.

Creamy and off khaki light tan like head, a solid two fingers, but not much more than that off the pour, but with excellent staying power, and clumpy like lacing. Deep chestnut brown and orange body color, translucent in a way, not crystal clear, and certainly no muddy, turbid, or even opaque on the appearance.

Floral like hop tones, and faint toasty notes but with excellent balance. Hop angle gets dominant, but is not one of those expressive new age hops it seems, but give the beer a nice angle. Who knows on the hop angle, but it seems in character and has a wonderful florality to it that is large which I find extremely rare. Faint hints of toast, even maybe a touch of cream. Fun angle, and solid.

Palate goes for simplicity. Good solid tetley tea like action on the hop angle, and crackling malts with faint toasty notes. In character with nice herbal aromatics and tea qualities, but much of the floral notes are gone. Crisp finish, crackery like malt bill but even a touch of body at such a low sessionable dialed low abv. Tangy hop qualities as well, marmalade, herbs, pine, quenching and excellent airy bitterness.

All this session IPA, when nobody seems to remember where the flavor is for a classic style. This is where it's at, excellent representation of the style. Would like to get more.

Clear, amber color. True-to-type mild nose and malt forward. Very mild taste, good example of a British best bitter without any American influence of hops or over the top malt and/or EtOH. Light, clean, well-rounded feel.
