I would be the first to agree with the previous negative reviews if it were true, but the bottle I had was great. It must have something to do with how the bottle was cellared?

It just wasn't pleasant to drink. The Brett dominated everything.

Explosive. Looks like flat murky juice. Aroma is plastic horse blanket with some spongy fruit. Taste follows, sort of rubbery. Not good.

Thanks to jmgrub for sharing this one at GRG1313's tasting.

Batch 1. Bottled 2/10/13.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, grain, fruit, and funk aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, fruit, funk, and Brett flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a nice balance of sour and Brett aspects all around.
