Bottle pour at the release, a blend of 4 different beers (ranging from 3-25 months aging)
The beer pours a cloudy coppery amber, with little sediment, and a tightly packed, white head that shows mild lacing before fading. The nose is tart with notes of vinous raspberries, oak, and definitely some funk, but no component of this beer's aroma seems overpowering. The taste is surprisingly bright and fruity, with tart berries upfront rounded out by the oak aging and malt backbone. I'd say this beer has a medium body with its big, rich flavors and modest alcohol, but it finishes lighter than expected, with a lingering, dry fruitiness. Each of the four beers blended stretch the palate on their own, but together they seem to work quite well. I'm very interested to see how this beer will evolve over time.

poured into SP stemmed tulip, 45 degrees

pours a reddish brown, little to no head. a quick fizz then nadda

nose is nice, tart sour fruit. light cherry and green apple. lots of berry. light oak.

i usually same similar to nose but not the case today. the flanders part really is stand out. however, it is lighter giving way to over characteristics. the dominating fruit would be cherry all the way. lots of nice cherry flavor with hints of berry. sounds like the smell but oddly enough, its different. some faint oak.

pretty vibrant carbonation giving way to the flavors as they pop out.

overall, awesome sauce. i loved it and i love the pull tab for easy wax removal. and the name is fucking metal \m/ !!!

PULLING NAILS, onslaughting your mouth, mouth mosh.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep orange. Medium white head.

Smell - Musty brett. White wine. Some toasty malt.

Taste - White wine is stronger here. Buttery and a bit of vinegar up front. Brett is strong, too. Toasty malt.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Moderate sourness.

Overall - Good, but doesn't blow me away like I expected from the reviews.

This has the perfect wild ale tanginess but with superior drinkability. The flavors are oranges, tangerines, light Apple and pear with an earthy mineral tone.
