750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep orange. Medium white head.

Smell - Musty brett. White wine. Some toasty malt.

Taste - White wine is stronger here. Buttery and a bit of vinegar up front. Brett is strong, too. Toasty malt.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Moderate sourness.

Overall - Good, but doesn't blow me away like I expected from the reviews.

A- Pours a hazy amber with orange and reddish hues. A thin white head retains well and leaves a good bit of lacing.

S- Loads of lacto and brett funk! Slightly cheesy, gueuze-like, with a lot of barrel character. Hints of overripe berries and fruits, particularly apricots. Some green apple tartness. So different, but so nice!

T- The flavor is very similar to the aroma. A bit less funky, but still lots of funk. A ton of the gueuze-like barrel character. Overripe apricots and berries. A light to moderate sourness. Very pleasant.

M- Medium mouth feel with a smooth velvety feel. Light acidity, and somewhat dry from the barrel. Light carbonation.

O- I really enjoyed this beer! It keeps pushing the boundaries like Side Project has been doing from the get go! Highly recommended!
