Bleuet du Fermier is our delicate and aromatic Saison du Fermier aged with blueberries in French Oak wine barrels. The brightness, depth, and rustic character are created by the wild yeast native to our family's Missouri farm. This Blueberry Saison was fermented in and aged in wine barrels for several months.

Pours a dark blended blueberry color that remains transparent until the last 2oz of a still-served bottle is poured into the glass, then it's murky. Aroma is blueberry right out front, and is embellished by oak and stone. Light tanginess on the nose, but not overtly sour. Flavor profile brings blueberries much more forward, followed and supported by oak, stone, and grass. It's tart, but not sour. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a light grit throughout. Overall, some great blueberry notes that add that semi-sweet berry characteristic, balanced out by tart saison.

Pouted from a 750 mL bottle. The color is very pretty blue hazy color. The aroma is a bit of funk with a big explosion of blueberry, love it. The taste follows the smell with the typical SP acidity and a light blueberry flavor. Its an awesome beer and tasty nonetheless.

Pours a bluish blush color. Nose is tart blueberries, oak, wood. Taste follow the nose, although a bit more dry than tart. A very solid offering.
