Pours a rich plum and berry look with heavy fog to the transparency. Head is two fingers of pink foam. Aroma is blackcurrents, making it heavy fruit and berry forward. Stone and raspberry develop towards the second half, accentuating the funky tanginess. Flavor profile is heavy blackcurrents, even more so than the nose. With that, it brings forward much more sour qualities to the taste. Outside of the fruit, which is consistent throughout, is stone, earthy, and light grass. Some mild acidity at the finish rounds it out. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a prickly effervescence texture. Overall, a tangy, fruit forward saison that does not shy away from blackcurrents.

Putple/pink head. Disappeared quickly
Nose soft funk, wood and berries
Taste was outstanding!! Beautifully complex display of dark currants, oak, tannin and Brett blend. Perfect tartness. Never had anything like it!
Gentle soothing sipper.

Surprisingly clear dark garnet with a lumpy pink spongy foam that retains tall, thick and airy for a while, slowly settling to a thin bumpy blanket leaving a few sparse arms of lacing.
Taste is wildly herbal, tart and berry forward, with a sharp but measured sourness and a distinct blend of both lighter, and darker charred oaks. Woody and mildly funky, red wine and even purple grape develop in the black currant, as the medium to full body features a filling froth the comes to a just dry finish with an herbal exhale.
It's actually got a really satisfying body, with a crisp yet filling effervescence, making it one of the best fruited sours I've had by Side Project, which often tend to become too sour for me. I can't believe the currant doesn't set it over the top. There's actually a nice tannin balance, providing a just barely semi-bitter contrast.
