Very Good
À La TableÀ La Table
Notes: Inspired by the refreshing and low-alcohol classic Saisons of the past, à la Table was fermented with wild Missouri yeast and our house Saison blend before being aged in Missouri Oak for several months and then naturally conditioned.

Pale straw yellow body, nice and clear; extremely lively and coarse carbonation; initial excellent head, thick and somewhat fizzy yet lasting, subsequent pours leave a thin and bubbly, wispy head. Sour and barnyard funk aroma; citrus; lemon and lime; wheat. Sour, tangy flavor; tart lemon. Light body; coarse; tangy and acidic; mild sweetness.

This beer brings some nice, easy going sour and farmhouse flavors to the palate. The really low ABV actually enhances the appeal of this one. Perhaps, overall, the carbonation and citrus tanginess is slightly over-the-top, yet beer as a whole is a nice and refreshing change.

Lightly foggy pale gold with a short fuzzy white blanket.

The light, bubbly body combines funk with ginger and lime characteristics before a quickly semi-dry finish which brings out semi-sweet grassy lemon with a peppery oak background.

i like this because its a lot less sour than pretty much everything else these guys have on offer right now, and because its so low alcohol, an awesome change of pace after a bottle of the new derivation blend, holy cow! its a simple beer, wheaty but light on the grain side, maybe the second runnings from another beer, basic saison base it seems, but its not without character, not at all, its earthy and light, softly crackery, and uniquely fresh in a style that i dont usually think about freshness with. there are some hops in the taste, almost all late, but some citrus from them, a light tea note, and very compatible with the funk this brings. seems more bretty than bacterial for once, which just hasnt been the case of late with these guys, where all the beer is just so acidic, so this is real drinkable and more interesting to me at the same time. it never seems as light as it is in terms of alcohol because the flavor is well layered, quite old worldy too, almost a saison dupont vibe to it, especially with the hops. it seems like this should have come into existence a long time ago, like they have always needed a beer like this in here, and i hope they keep on brewing it. great carbonation, nice and dry, some straw and hay and light lemon to finish, farmy without being particularly mature or anything, and very bright and drinkable overall. some will say this isnt among their most compelling releases, but for me its just right. i love the low alcohol and the yeast character, i really enjoyed it. curious to see how it ages in the bottle too...

750 mL bottle. Lightly hazy yellow. Smells of white wine, white wine acidity, oak, and some yeastiness. Tastes of white wine and stone fruit tartness. Very light grain flavor. Oak. Lingering white wine. Very light. Pleasant, if very light in all aspects except sourness.

This is another beer that Cory has added to his repertoire of great beers. As a table beer in fortitude however, and saison to boot, it will always be that underappreciated and overlooked beer that deserves so much more. Pours a hazy straw yellow, with a bit of that Side Project fluff on top. Light, crisp, and tart with a tinge of citrus flavor rounds out this brew.

poured from a 750mL bottle into a stemmed bulb glass. pours a semi-murky gold with fluffy white head that fades very quickly and leaves no trace it was ever there. smells of lemon and grass. taste is very lemony, light and refreshing. like an alcoholic thirst quencher. overall, a fine low ABV table beer that is full of flavor.
