From a very fresh 12 oz bottle: bottling date of 26 Jan. 2016.

As with the previous version of this IPA, I do not love the earthy/musty aroma of the hop mix but the flavor is enjoyable. Te flavor is less earthy, not musty, and bit fruity. About average bitterness and hop load for style.

Nice medium-light body with medium carbonation.

Appearance: Pours out amber colored and produces an inch or so of head; a few strands of lacing hang around

Smell: Caramel, apple and pine tones

Taste: Caramel and bread in the base, with hints of apple and pineapple; a modest, piney bitterness builds, after the swallow; it becomes fruity again, after the swallow, with some lingering bitterness

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

Overall: Somewhat interesting in the yeast profile but I doubt I would seek it out again

A very smooth mouthfeel, strong citrus flavor (pleasant). Interesting slightly murky yellow color.

Pale, light golden. Hoppy like an IPA, but with some of the spice of a Belgium. Very easy to drink. Refreshing, not heavy.

Recieved this as an extra in a trade. Poured into my Duvel tulip.

A - Poured a nice crystal clear dark gold hue with a good two finger white head that faded to leave very sticky lacing and a super fat one finger blanket.

S - Aromas of lightly sweet malts, herbal hops, light tea notes, candied orange peel, some faint wet cardboard.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Lightly malty but not overly so, light grassy/herbal hops. Some tea going on with a little bit of candied citrus peel. Finish is very lightly bitter.

M - Mouthfeel is a bit on the lower carbonation side, a bit thin. That lets the alcohol presence pop out a bit.

O - Overall this was a solid IPA. Very nice appearance, solid taste. Wish the mouthfeel was a bit better. Still, that considered this was a solid IPA.

Got in a BIF from KMitch. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. A bit malty/muddy aromas. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Feels like Classic C's/Amarillo hops. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; balanced bready Munich malt backbone, mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering. Well made and classic tasting style example.

12oz bottle courtesy of Rob, poured into a pint glass.
A: pours a rich copper golden body, frothy plus one white finger foam head, stringy lacing, carbonation.
S: Aroma is the best part of this beer, wonderful tropical fruit notes, followed by some Citrus, light hints of malt, and caramel
M: medium body with a slight juicy finish on the tongue
T: hop bitterness up front, Piney, then some tropical fruits along with Citrus, such as tangerine, and towards the finish grapefruit peel, light malt that mellows out the hop bitterness in the finish
O: overall a good session IPA, aroma is very appealing in this beer, the taste is slightly less than the aroma, I would definitely drink more of this beer

I had this in March during a conference trip to Atlanta. This was a good IPA, though not the first (or best) one I had that night. Thus, I'd have to have it again on a clean palate to provide more detail. Haven't seen these Atlanta beers in Kentucky.

Had on draft at BWW ATL Airport

Light in color
Decent hop aroma (despite my stuffy nose)
Hop foward with notes of dank and and fruit
Light body and firm bittering

I was pleased over all with this beer. Worth a try.

I'm trying this at Henry's in midtown hotlanta. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a nice ring lace. The scent is bland...some citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was bitter presents at the start then lemon citrus helps to balance. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

12oz can from Lucky's (Woodstock, GA). 9.99/ 6 pack. No obvious canning date but this has just hit shelves in the past couple weeks. Served in a Three Taverns snifter.

Pours a brilliant, clear amber with two and a quarter fingers of dense white head. The froth slowly recedes to a thin, persistent layer that stretches to a fluffy crown which in turn leaves large patches of lacing.

Bright aromas of citrus, grass and a hint of caramel. Enjoyable despite my non specificity.

Flavors of orange peel, fresh cut grass, faint mint, some subtle bread and an ever so slight nip of alcohol. At once assertive and balanced. Quite approachable.

Medium, vaguely oily body with vibrant carbonation. Oranges and grass mingle on the palate in the lingering, lightly bitter finish.

I'd written off A Night On Ponce a couple years back when it was first released because it just didn't do much for me. I recently read that they'd tweaked the recipe so decided to give it another try in its new canned format. I'm sure glad I did, as this is a much brighter, more balanced and all around tastier IPA than was initially released.
