Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a pint glass.

Appearance: The light pink, foamy, two finger head stays around for a long time and leaves some lacing in big patches. It's quite hazy and a very dull rose gold color.

Smell: It smells strongly of fresh raspberries and that's pretty much it. There's a slight hint of grains in the background. One dimensional but that's OK. The aroma is very pleasant.

Taste: It's tart and sour but not in an overwhelming way. The taste is mostly fruity and sweet. There's some raspberry, cherry and green apple with a sweet malty backbone holding things together.

Mouthfeel: It's quite soft, light, juicy and refreshing with high carbonation.

Overall: A very fruity and refreshing beer perfect for warm weather.

12 ounce can, I’m not sure of the date but there are numbers printed on bottom. Poured into a tulip.
Pours a pink/orange, like the flesh of ruby red grapefruit, fine bubbled soft pink head. A really beautiful presentation.
The nose is raspberries, a bit of lemon/lime, hints of oak. Raspberry is the dominant aroma for me.
Much of the same in the taste. Sweet raspberry candy, citrus, lemon juice, underripe strawberries. Lightly tart, medium body and carbonated just enough to wash it all away.

Poured into a snifter from a can. Appearance is bright pink, almost like a carbonated rose. Flavor is fantastic, with notes of raspberry and lemon, and occasionally a bit of white grape skin as well. All in all, this is a fantastic raspberry sour ale.

Pours a surprisingly strong white head, atop a brilliant opaque cherry-orange body.

Nice tart, sour, and musty aroma. Oak, wild yeast, cherries, and raspberries.

Flavor follows: it's a tart berry-focused ale, with wild yeast funk, and strong notes of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

Reasonable pucker and a medium body.

Very good brew from a brewery previously unknown to me. Excellent American-style Lambic.

Decent sour ale, taste is not overpowering but tasty. Probably will not get it again. Pours light pink 1-2 finger of head.

First had poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "071317," into tulip. A rare canned sour, Rapturous is a beautiful, sour raspberry beer, with an extremely dry finish.
