The first thing you notice inside is the early 1900's decor to make it look like an old bar. There is an upstairs sitting area with large arm chairs and a couch. Beer is really good and the place is definitely worth a visit.

Three Taverns has a great location in Avondale Estates. I have dropped in on several occasions for either a to go pack or a tasting and found them to be groovy folks.

I had the chance to visit this brewery over the weekend and absolutely love this place. Easily one of my favorite Georgia breweries. Small, but very nice tasting room. The bartenders were all super friendly, a nice change of pace from some of the other local breweries I've visited. If you're in the Atlanta area, you have to visit Three Taverns!

Very small tap list, almost entirely the brewery itself, but that includes some solid craft efforts. Small but useful menu; prices run a little high.
Service was fine.

Traveling to Georgia from California, I searched for breweries near Stone Mountain. I was fortunate enough to locate this place. To no surprise, this place was great ! They obviously took great pride in their craft and it shows through the beer. The laws are different in Georgia. It is set up where you buy a flight of six and you are given tokens. you can double down on your tokens to sample some heavier beers. It is not over priced and well worth it for the great beers that are available. The only draw back is that they closed down the brewery for an hour or two for tours. I had two tokens to use up and had to wait over 30 minutes until the tour was over,, What ? Kind of threw off my momentum a bit but no worries, there is another brewery around the corner. spent the rest of the day their. Keep up the good work, I will be back. I will be sure to use up my tokens before the exclusive tour.
