Appearance: Arrives espresso colored and filled to the brim without a head or lacing; the bartender drew a purposefully slow pour
Smell: Roasted aromatics bring chocolate and coffee with a hint of lactose
Taste: Roast forward with the chocolate developing; the coffee arrives in the middle and, blending with the lactose, produces a slightly creamy finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low carbonation
Overall: A nice stout but I prefer my milk stouts to have a little less roast

On tap at the brewery.
Essentially black and opaque body with a tan head that reduces too quickly.
Very good balance ands harmony in the aroma. The flavor has a somewhat strong black coffee note that builds over time. A little sweet up front but mildly bitter overall.

Robust, Charcoal, Currants, Espresso
The A.M. as in morning as this is a breakfast stout and wouldn’t you know it, this beer is aged on coffee beans. Full bodied and slightly chewy from an addition of lactose sugar, brunt twang of charcoal and roasted coffee is pleasant from start to finish. Edgy but drinkable, super roasty but slightly sweet. A real treat to sip on and yes, it tastes like something you could drink at breakfast.

Good roasted smell. Smooth, mellow roasted malt, coffee flavor. Creamy. This is good. Wish I saved it for breakfast to have with bacon and pancakes.
