This place was very small, but nice. Only a handful of tables, but gives you that small mom and pop vibe, with an almost homebrewer's place. I believe the owner/brewer was serving us, and possibly his wife also helping? A handful of beers, all the ones I had were great. One of the best surprises of my trip. It was late night Thursday, 9-10PM, we basically closed their doors, and there were only a few others in there. Obviously the server was very knowledgeable, but also friendly and almost jolly like.

We stopped at Roundabout on a Saturday night, #3 of 7 breweries on a weekend Pittsburgh Brewery tour. Roundabout had been recommended to us by the owner of Grist House, so our hopes were up. This is a smallish space, and it was crowded, especially after the 40 person brew tour arrived! Tried a flight, all were decent, but we didn't linger too long. The beers seem to be hit or miss here--hopefully they will continue to dial it in. Worth a quick visit, but I wouldn't put it first on the list, unless I lived in the neighborhood and could visit when it wasn't crowded.

In Western PA visiting the wife's fam and our daughter and I decide to go hit the local brewery. Lo and behold we come across little gem of a place outside of downtown Pittsburgh. Roundabout is a small place, but still roomy, if that makes sense. They have a good amount of seating and an almost equal-sized stand-about area. The bartenders were somewhat friendly, but they answered our questions politely and were patient. The quality was no-doubt very good. Their IPA on tap today was probably the smoothest I have ever had, I wish I could remember what it was called. Overall, It's a nice hangout place but it could get quite uncomfortable if they end up getting a large crowd.

small tasting room that is rather sterile with a few tables when you walk in up against the window. the bar is small as well with typically 6ish offerings all made in house! Steve(brewer) and his wife are typically behind the bar serving up their new zealand inspired offerings. I like how they always have some type of ipa or pale ale on tap if not multiple! Food trucks on weekends keep me interested but during the week the pies from pub chip shop just doesn't cut it for me! i cant wait till they expand their operation because Steve is probably the best brewer in the city and give him more resources and will only make the best of the best!

can get real busy on weekend nights. The water was CO2-driven. But this isnt H2O Advocate. They great had tasty beers. Decent variety in styles too. Some interesting hops. And good barreled stuff. Well done beers.

This is probably my favorite "new" brewery in Pittsburgh. Beers are consistently good, and it is a neat place to visit.

Pies and pints on a Wednesday night for $9, you can't beat that. Nice people, friendly atmosphere and local.
