Fresh bottle release, bought 3, had two over the weekend, will hold onto the 3rd for a while to see if fruit mellows. Pours a cool looking cloudy creamy pink color with white head. Smells of Raspberries and slight sourness. The taste is overwhelmingly Raspberries but under it you get the sour tartness of the Berliner style. A little too fruity for me, reminds me a lot of Lindemans Framboise but with a nice sour undertone. 4.25

Reviewed from long-standing notes. Poured from a 750 mL bottle into a Cigar City Brewing goblet.
A: Pours a turbid red - almost like strawberry juice. Lots of visible carbonation with a thin pinkish head that fades almost immediately.
S: Pretty low aroma overall. Some light fruitiness with a husky light malt and some lactic tart. But not a big aroma. Of note, the aroma does open up and get stronger as it warms out of the fridge.
T: Despite the low aroma, the flavors explode nicely. Raspberry jam, nicely tart with lactic acid and a mild basement funk. A light malt body with just a hint of graininess on the exhale. Impressions of underripe strawberries, boysenberries, and some lemon citric bite. Tart and acidic fruits last into the hang.
M: While overall a light body, it's a bit on the heavy side for style. Carbonation a bit on the low side for style. Alcohol flavors are minimal.
O: Maybe not the best fruited Berliner you’re gonna have. But it's tasty, drinkable, and still with some layers of complexity and a touch of funk.
