A bit unfair to review as this is slightly long in the tooth. There was a slight soy sauce aspect to the aroma and also the taste, likely from oxidation. Otherwise, this was a delicious beer, with rich chocolate, caramel, and a tangy, salty note on the palate. Overall, a delicious milk stout. If you have this beer, drink it before it ages anymore.

750 mL bottle. Black and thick. Smells of lots of chocolate. Strong milk chocolate. Tastes of all milk chocolate. Lactose. I guess something like salt in the finish. Heavy and sweet. It’s ok in small quantities.

Pours one shade shy of black with a mocha-colored head that slowly disperses. Nose expresses milk chocolate and ethanol. Taste reveals sweet and syrupy chocolate and a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an almost still carbonation and a slightly syrupy texture. Overall, very tasty but a bit thin and cloying.

The only thing that stopped this one from being among my favorite Angry Chair stouts is a faint hint of smoke flavor that was slightly off-putting. That aside, it's still a fantastically solid stout, and I'd still take it over many other brewery's offerings any day. It just has some unfair competition with so many other Angry Chair stouts being next level delicious.

L: pours thick and black, but not pitch black. Pours with a film of head.
S: all chocolate, slight booze.
T: very nicely balanced between bitter and sweet chocolate. Again slight booze, but not detracting.
F: very thick with tons of carbonation.

750ml bottle sealed with a black pressure cap.

poured into a pair of HF wine stems.

Appearance: black body with medium brown head that pours 2 fingers thick. Lots of lace on the glass.

Smell: This smells exactly like Hersheys chocolate syrup, dark chocolate, and dense chocolate cake.

Taste: Loads and loads of chocolate. A hint of lactose and oats. Flourless chocolate cake. Finishes lightly bitter almost an ashen or light smoke character. Very interesting; cant think of any milk stouts that have a flavor profile such as this. Unfortunately no salted presence in this stout.

Mouthfeel: medium body with low carbonation. The mouthfeel is best right out of the fridge. Its has creamy carbonation and is oily. As it warms, the beer thins out substantially. Though it does not become boozy at any time.

Overall: Chocolate is there, but the salt is hard to find. Well crafted beer, but I felt like I wanted a little more complexity and a bigger body out of this salted chocolate stout.

The look is a deep black motor oil with a delightful creamy brown foamy head that turns to splendid lacing. The aroma is that of dark American Chocolate, which leads to the taste of chocolate peanut clusters much like those from the old dime store candy counters--delicious. The feel is thick and creamy--just right for a good milk stout. This is a sensational new direction for Angry Chair and comes close to rivaling Fudge Bucket. Still have a bottle in the cooler that I am saving for a special occasion--like beer thirty.

Very dark brown, close to black in color. Thick dark caramel head on top. Could smell nothing but chocolate. Tasted nothing but sweet chocolate. Makes you want to have another after finishing
