Salted caramel and an overly toasted malt on the nose... improves as it warms. The palate pretty much nails the turtle sundae profile; rich caramel, some bitter nuttiness from the pecans, restrained vanilla throughout. Great pastry stout.

Thick black body. Sweet, sweet caramel with mildly sweet vanilla and chocolate. The nuttiness is pretty mild, but there as it warms. Caramel dominates this bad boy. Fuller medium bodied. Tastes like a true sundae cold, more pastry as it warms.

From a 32 oz crowler; medium viscosity goodness pours pitch black into a snifter with a half finger of light brown head; smells of burnt chocolate and caramel; taste follows the nose, with the chocolate and caramel supplemented with vanilla and slight nuttiness tones on the finish; it is sweet but not overwhelming; impressive sweet stout!

Poured a black body with minimal khaki head and no lace. Chocolate and caramel aroma with touch of vanilla as well (just a smidge). Thick, sticky, definitely getting the caramel (almost a Caramello bar) along with some dark chocolate. Some booze on the finish complements the beer, as does a touch of nuttiness and vanilla on finish which helps beer avoid becoming a caramel malt and chocolate cloying mess. Definitely hit the sweet tooth but one crowler hit the spot.
