Had on draft at a Red Robin in Hershey, PA.
Had a look of a dark apple cider; murky brown and a thin head. No lacing left in the glass.
Smells of the spices that are in it: cinnamon, nutmeg and come clove.
Tastes like a pumpkin spiced beer with a more malty backbone than pumpkin. Super easy to drink and not overly spiced to the point that some pumpkin beers are. The orange peel that they add really evens out the spices.
Could really see myself drinking a couple of these on a cold Christmas Eve or winter's night.
Very tasty indeed.

I picked up a growler of this beer at the brewery on a recent visit to PA. This is a seasonal beer for the winter season.
Pouring at cellar temp into a large snifter, the beer pours a slightly hazy mahogany color with several stream of carbonation rising up from the bottom of the glass.
A tightly packed beige head foams up about 1 cm and fades to nothing but a string of thin wispy islands.
Aroma is very spicy up front with nutmeg and cloves and hints of cinnamon. Also a lot of sweet caramel malt and toffee. Quite an inviting and sweet nose, no hints of hops and not any hints of booze either.
First sip reveals an average body with a smooth silky texture and very soft spacious carbonation.
Flavor is sweet spicy malt with cloves and nutmeg and again rich sweet toffee and caramel, almost like a werthers candy. But the spice is dominant up front, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.
The spices subside and are overpowered by sweet caramel and a little booze.
The beer is fairly complex and very spicy and sweet, it borders on cloying and the booze is barely noticeable in the finish. Overall the beer is drinkable, but split a growler with a friend or it might be too sweet.
Worth a shot if spicy winter warmers are your thing.

I had this on tap at Al's Pizza and Subs in Enola, served chilled in a pint.

The color is deeply hazed medium brown with thin pale tan cap and fine bead. The smell is like potpourri -lots of ginger/nutmeg and clove with mild sweet aroma of malt. The feel is decent but spice is on the verge of dominating with thick and sweet honey-like almost syrupy texture with medium carbonation and mild alcohol influence.

The taste is good with mild honey-like aspect which makes me wonder if it is really metheglin or a spiced braggot. The spice brings a lot of earthy ginger flavor to the mix with some nutmeg and only the slightest clove to round out the intensely spiced ale. This is a bit too sweet in general to be pleasant and I would probably not order this again -but it is about average as far as winter spiced ales go and is drinkable for the style/abv, I just wish I had ordered a 1/2 pint instead.
