Great stop after landing in Lihue. A cool space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Solid beer options.

Very happening little brewery in Lihue. Super packed on a Thursday night. All the beers were average or better. Two food trucks outside. Beer selection was alright, with mostly hoppy stuff plus a lager, a schwartzbier, and a barleywine. Beertenders were friendly and helpful. Nice spot worth checking out when you're in Kauai.

B4 flying out we stopped here as it is less than a mile from airport, and im so glad i did. Its on Rice st. in a light industrial area with lots of locals inside as well as tourist had outdoor and indoor seating. The owner and head brewer are visible as is the working brewery thru a large window. The owner chatted with us and bought out the next experimental IPA currently being ready to tap to get my opinion. They have at least 11 brews on tap from lagers to stouts, the beers were very good especially the lagers and the IPA's. Food was outstanding we had fish tacos and garden salad both were top notch. This is a nice visit and i would have returned if it was not my last day looks to be family friendly.. They sell beer to go and have loads of swag to purchase.

This is the first place we visited after landing in Lihue. Didn't hurt that it was only a few minutes drive from the airport. They have a nice beer lineup. Every one we tried was good. The Oktoberfest and ipa stood out. The food here is very tasty. This is a winner!

Their beer is well made and tasty. I had the Saison and the dark lager. The service was OK and the food selection was very limited but good. They have 2-3 types of mac and cheese.

Small brewpubs located downtown in Lihue. Staff is very nice and quite knowledgeable about their beers. Prices are fair which is kind of surprising considering the cost of living. Quality of beer is hit or miss but makes for a nice change of scenery.

Very chill place near airport .... visited on a Saturday around 5:30pm - fairly busy but nothing crazy. About 8 different selections available - beers were in the 3.5 to 3.75 range so fairly average. Food was very tasty - had the BLT which was made with pork belly. Had the salmon mac and cheese as well - also solid. Prices are VERY reasonable for Kauai standards. Not a huge beer scene on this island, so this is a decent option.

Very diverse range. All solid quality. Visited on a very quiet Saturday afternoon, but taproom was appealing with nice outdoor spaces (although on a fairly busy street).

Given the BA criteria for rating places, it's pretty hard to give this place a high score. The pub is something of a no frills affair, with a low ceiling dining area (except I don't think there's any kitchen here), and a small bar area near the back on the left. The vibe here is completely low key and informal, with almost a dive-like flavor (a positive, in my book).
On this particular day, they had 7 beers on tap, with the saison offered on nitro as well (for God only knows what reason). Quality was up and down, with the lager, pale ale, saison and IPA #1 quite good (number one is made with citra and amarillo hops I was told). I wasn't all that enamored with the vienna lager, the dunkel or the IPA #2, but they weren't awful. I don't think they have a kitchen here (they only serve food on Friday, but they also have BBQ out front sometimes as well). Service was friendly, but I didn't get the impression the bar tender was particulary knowledgeable (just the basics, which was more than sufficient). Prices were quite reasonable for the isalnds, with pints going for $5 a pop I believe. Most of the beers on offer have a fairly low abv., which if anything, is one more reason to appreciate this place.
There really aren't all that many craft beer options in Kauai, which is all the more reason I appreciated this place. My BA score not withstanding, this was my favorite craft beer spot on our visit to the islands. I'd go back here in a heart beat.

This place is coming along nicely. They have their standard beers which are Lihue Lager and Black Limo. I have to honestly say that Lihue Lager is one of the best lagers that I've had. What I like about them is that they are always brewing different beers. Currently they have a pale ale, amber ale, maibock, and a mild. They previously had a bourbon porter, honey ipa and another lager. I hear a saison is in the works as well, and so far all of their beers have been pretty good to great. As far as their food offerings they have food trucks on thursday and they are working on their kitchen. The hours have improved to wed - sat 3 to 8 pm. and as time goes on I'm sure the hours will expand. Service has always been great and the owner will usually do a tour if asked. They also have a doorbell that can be used when they're closed to get growler fills, if someone is around. I have high hopes for this place as they continue to grow. Oh yeah, they also added a tap just for nitro so hopefully this fall or winter they'll have a stout to go with it.

Mediocre, even for Hawai'i. I really enjoyed the Black Limo, but that was the extent of their darker beers. Most of the beers were smooth, but I wish they offered something darker. The service was moderate- pretty much expected for Hawai'i. The location was a fairly unexpected area and it was disappointing that they didn't have extended hours and food.

Situated in Lihue and close to the airport this is an easy place to miss, and seems an unlikely location. However, upon entering you are greeted by a bright white room, numerous bench tables with a window that opens to the brewery. The bar wood is a single piece of Norfolk pine and gorgeous.
Selection here focuses on German styles mostly lagers. There are normally two guest taps which when I visited were Deschutes which was common around the island.
The quality is vey solid with the Helles lagers I found the most impressive of the bunch. Solid service with many locals and people who are really into the beers. Future works are in for a bourbon barreled Porter.
Prices are also very reasonable for an island that gets quite expensive. Easily worth a stop in the area if you are on the island.
