I don't mean this in a negative way, but for a "hotel" based bar, this place is really top notch. Instead of the mundane macro beer list they have an impressive variety of Northeast based breweries. Who would have thought - go to a hotel bar and enjoy a fresh Fiddlehead IPA on tap? Selections from Wormtown, Lord Hobo, Mayflower, Exhibit "A" ... Impressed. We had dinner there as well and the Turkey Burger was pretty much perfect and the fries weren't greasy. Very nice. Overall, I'd definitely consider stopping by here again next time in town and in fact, will look into staying at that particular hotel so I don't have to worry about driving and try more beers on the menu. ;o)

Stopped here for dinner after checking into my hotel room that I was staying at for EBF. Looked over the menu and thought it sounded good so I shot over there with the friend I was with and had a beer and some food. Both were good and the service was pretty good too despite it being a very busy dinner hour. If I were staying in the Waltham area again the future I would consider stopping back in again.

I stopped in here for a couple beers after a conference at the Westin across the street. I was a little thrown off at first because the menu seems to be designed in order to make all the beers cost the same amount, but differ based on volume. I didn't discover this until after I had made my first selection. So basically you're paying $8 a beer but may get 13 to 20 ozs. Not sure I like this model.

Anyways, the selection was excellent. The restaurant was clean and nice looking. I didn't venture into the food department, so can't comment there. Staff was attentive, although I was literally the only person there. Okay, it was 3pm on a Tuesday, so maybe this makes sense on some level.

Located in the Best Western Hotel. Not the typical budget hotel resto though.

Modern upscale look to the place, big rectangular bar surrounded by booths & flat-tops, a patio for better weather.

Service is always very attentive & friendly. Obvious that the customer experience is focused with the staff.

Nice broad selection of 30+ beers on draft, good balance amongst styles. Could use some rotation amongst the choices, though - menu is pretty much always the same. That said, I usually find many beers I like.

Food is fresh & tasty, nice casual menu variety. Obvious that scratch cooking done in the kitchen.

Bring my kids here on occasion & they are very respectful to them.

One minor complaint is that the food & beer prices are just slightly high...for the 'burbs.

I'm a semi-regular here. Not a destination place, but a nice spot worthy of a visit if you're in Metro West.
