Poured into a pint glass at Fondren Public, Jackson, MS

A: Dark brown with a rich, brown head that lingered. Curtain-y lacing.

S: Coffee hits the olfactory like a sledgehammer. Oh my, will I be sleeping tonight? Light malts pop in with a hint of oatmeal sweetness.

T: Yep, that's a breakfast brew. Smooth coffee slides in with a caramel malt sweetness that begs for more. A slight bitter finish, but I want more.

M: Medium to heavy with frothy carbonation.

O: My favorite so far from Southern Prohibition. And one of the coolest names for a beer, too. Sip slowly or glug it down. It's all good. And hip!

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, some oats. Taste is mild coffee, roasted malts, light chocolate, some bitterness at the finish. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is a good quality beer.

Pours out dark brown to black with ruby highlights and a tan head. Smells of roasted malt, toffee, and English hops. Tastes bready with roasted malts, dried fruits, herbal hops, and caramel. Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, and full. This is an excellent oatmeal stout. Very English in character.

SPB Hipster Breakfast has a thick, creamy head, a dark brown appearance, and some nice lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, roasted malt, cream, sugar, and brown bread. Taste is of those elements with some char bitterness, hop bitterness, earthiness, and sugary sweetness. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy and velvety, and SPB Hipster Breakfast finishes semi-dry and not at all alcohilic.

16 oz. can poured into imperial pint glass. Pours a jet black, thick brown colored head. Smells of roasted malts, coffee. Taste is sweetness, dark roasted grains, coffee, bitter chocolate. Medium hop bitterness to help balance all the sweetness. This is a full bodied oatmeal stout, smooth. Overall, a very enjoyable full-bodied, roasty ale. Well done Southern Prohibition Brewing.

Again I don't know why this makes you write a review. I have no review to write. This is an optional field. Blah blah blah

A: pours black with a half finger of tan, thick head. good retention and lacing.

S: malty sweetness, dark fruits, traces of chocolate and coffee

T: roasted malts. some sweetness. bitter chocolate, a bit of coffee, slight bitterness of finish.

M: good mouth feel. I would prefer it to be a bit thicker, but that is personal preference. It is appropriate for the style.

O: good beer. would buy again.
