Exuberant tropical fruit aroma leads to juicy grapefruit, pineapple and citrus flavors. This beer is a prime example of a San Diego IPA with pale straw color, restrained malt character, a bone dry finish, and loads of hops from first wort to dry hop.
Hops: CTZ, Amarillo, El Dorado, Hull Melon and Chinook hops.

This is a decent double IPA. The boozyness lost me though. I know DIPAs have a boozy finish but this one is too strong a ethanol taste. Dont
get me wrong I still drank the whole beer, it's just not for my pallet.

The first one was horrible after drinking 2 other IPAs. The taste difference between hops was not good. I gave it another shot since I had 5 more. It was much better on its own and very drinkable.

Grapefruit and pith up front followed by a lemony malt that's very carbonated and finishes with a bit of orange and dank.

Nice imperial IPA from the great Pizza Port. 4/2/20 date printed on can. Pours a nice slightly darker golden color with some fluffy white head and nice small rings of lingering lacing. Smells of nice citrus hops - mainly grapefruit, lemon, orange and a little pineapple. Also some malt, melon, vanilla, bread and weaker floral hops. Taste follows the nose, good bitter hit at the end which makes this reminiscent of other West Coast IPAs. Smooth, clean, crisp mild mouthfeel with good carbonation. Higher ABV was well hidden. This was easy to drink and very flavorful.

On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach.
Pours a clear golden with frothy white head that dissipates to creamy lacing over beer.
Served quite cold so aroma initially underwhelming - slightly floral, bready malt, as warmed pine notes.
On the palate more distinct pine, slightly resinous, still getting the bready sweetness of the malt - notes of grapefruit and perhaps a bit of pineapple.
Medium full mouthfeel - well carbonated - leaves with a nice bittersweetness that hangs momentarily.
